We have decided to compile a F.A.Q for all players to ready in case people is confused after reading misleading comments or other strange negative feedback we have been given.

Is the game uncensored?

Yes, you unlock the uncensor modes in your first playthroughs.

Do I need the DLC to uncensor the game?

No, the game can be uncensored by simply playing the game, but the DLC exists for people who want full uncensored options and full gallery without unlocking things in game.

Do certain bosses/enemies do more damage per hit?

No, all hits are 1 damage. The ship's health allows for a set number of hits.
However if you crash into the boss itself it deals 2 damage.

Do I only get one life?

The game offers some special item called Magic Coins, those will allow you to resurrect if you die in battle.

Why do I start from the beginning each time I play?

Waifu Uncovered series are like classic shmups (Strikers/194X/Ikaruga/etc), each run is meant to be played in a single short sitting. If played correctly, and experienced player can complete the game in about 1 hour.

Why is One-Handed Mode a separate mode?

A key part of the game is the speed of each ship, both at the start and as you power up the ship. This manoeuvrability dynamic goes away when a mouse is used. One-Handed Mode is easier than Arcade, and has separate ships and scoring to account for the difference in how the game is played with a mouse.

Why is the game so easy/hard?

Normal is easier than Arcade. Arcade is easier than Expert. There are hidden stages that can make the game more challenging. The game is designed to allow the player to play the game mode and path that matches the challenge level they are looking for.

But... I want to really play once and complete the game in one go!

That's not how games work. You need to get in touch with the mechanics understand boss patterns and individual enemies and they bullets.
However, if you want to unlock everything quickly, there is DLC for players who just want that content.

So how do you unlock full uncensored mode? I'm only able to get the first upper half of the ladies
