So it doesn't state the need for an always on connection, so that's a good sign (at least).
Thank you for your answer.
Nah, it's utter trash because if the game shut downs, bye bye goes the game forever. Specially games you paid $60 for.
So yeah, unless its a f2p game or one of those competitive PVP only games, that always online bs is unacceptable in my book.
Always Online = Always No Buy
Some companies or at least particular games from some companies do not have reliable servers.
Yes people have internet. We know that. There is more to it. But if you are younger and not used to having control of your game, or your data, you may have lower expectations.
How you can defend practises like this is beyond me... How would you like it if you bought a brand new TV, but the catch is that you need to accept that someone can walk into your house at any moment and hit it with a sledgehammer and you can't just simply choose another TV because all the other ones do this too because "everyone has the internet now". What's that? You want to just replace it with the same model? Too bad because every single identical model also had the sledgehammer treatment and now you have to buy the new model until they decide to sledgehammer that too...
Do you see what the problem is here?
This is what I'm wondering too. Requiring a 2K account for multiplayer is one thing, but I want the rest of it to work, including install, without it...
