Much more exciting is the Lego Bucks payout: It is incredibly low. Even for victories in the higher-level classes, you only get 20 or 25 Bucks. Considering that finished cars cost up to 14,000 Bucks in the store, you can imagine how much you'd have to grind for them. Even additional parts cost a few hundred to a thousand bucks.
You get one vehicle per every race event in single player. I've gotten vehicles and brick sets from doing some random quest here and there in the open world. I've been going around the map doing that and collectibles and have purchased 1 vehicle, and have enough to buy 4-6 from the shop.
I'm near the end of the game and I have:
12 Street Cars
13 Off-Road Cars
10 boats, one of which was purchased from the shop for 10,000 brick bux.
There's still a ton of money to earn and collectible money to collect in the open world. You people are spreading such misinformation about this game and need to honestly stop it.
Seems quite sinister the way these tactics are used on children.
then all the reports and videos are wrong ? even those from the trade press ? a scandal that no one has discovered yet ?!
Wtf are you talking about
100% agree
People is talking about online.
Play single-player and easy to get them lol.
i actually noticed the same. i was literally shocked how BAD the content in the store is.. vehicles look like crap mostly, the drivers are also ugly and uninspired. i think the stuff you unlock whilst playing through the game is much better and higher quality than the stuff currently on the stire (this will most likely change though and they will put up the fanciest stuff on the store, but so far theres really nothing you would want to even spend money on)
Or, you know, you can build your own for free. Honestly, if you're only playing this game with prebuilds, well... I'm not going to say you're playing it wrong, but being able to build your cars from scratch is a HUGE part about this game being a LEGO racing game. If you're not doing that you're basically ignoring a good chunk of the game's content.
I've played this game for a decent amount of time now and I've only ever paid the initial purchase price. The only issue I've had is that I've hit the limit on the number of custom vehicles you're allowed to build.
