Is this game worth it if I just want to play career mode by my self?

I'd wait and see what the December patch looks like. There's a lot of issues with the gameplay, but assuming those get fixed. The career seems pretty good.

Nah gets boring super fast because there isn't much depth to the career mode.

Yes, very worth it, there have been adjustments and there will continue to be, unless you are easily triggered or salty, career mode is great

Hay guys ,one more question is this always online? Can I play career offline? ok two questions.

I have played all sort of sport games from soccer to basketball to combat games. I play both Japanese and English sport games so I have seen what the entire world had to offer for the sport game. This game has one of the worst career modes among all sport games I had touched in my 25+ years of gaming life.

- It doesn't even have basic statistical stuff so you cannot even see who you fought throughout your career and the result of those things. How in the world can a sport career mode don't include a basic thing like this? Well, ask the dev cuz I can't comprehend it either.

- Broken skill development and aging system for the AI fighters. New generated fighters won't go up high in into ranking and a lot of the real fighters will get super old by the time you hit the top rank. You will have easy fight against out-of-prime fighters with low OVR at the top and you can beat them easily. They will stuck up on rankings so you won't find young and hungry challengers when you are defending your belt. You will just defend easily against out of prime fighters. It will play out like Paul vs Tyson -- you know if you box smart they cannot do jackcrap to you and it's easy. Also, same opponents throughout your career is boring -- which is a major fault in the current UFC games' career mode. This game actually generate new fighters so theoretically you should be facing more varied opponents but you can't cuz the game doesn't get them to the top.

- Lack of depth for career progression. Career progression is boring and very limited. Not enough meaningful choices throughout your career and there are not a lot of variations so you will be feeling like you are experiencing the same things on a new save.

I could have more points but I can't recall them as I played this few months ago. I doubt they update a lot about career mode in the recent update so it should be the same ol' crap. Everything about the career mode just felt very barebone to me. I personally can't enjoy barebone career modes.
