I Played the PS5 timed trial AND......
It is worse than the STEAM version! I would have been very very pixxxed if I had spent 70+ currencies on it.
I can't actually describe the experience I can only say that it was "Arcade" at best. The Stamina for the player boxer is ridiculous. The amount of flash knockdowns and knockouts far exceeds that on the steam version, and my god the dazed fighter knockout moment. The AI boxer obviously backs away but they all of a sudden have super human blocking and your boxer visibly slows down and the accuracy goes out of the stadium it is completely stupid.
One fight stood out and thankfully after it my 2 hours ended, I was fighting middleweight against Sugar Ray Leonard, I was Nigel Benn. In total from round 4 in the fight I put Sugar Ray down 8 times 8 and he just kept getting up 8 times!! The fight went to 9 Rounds during that I was put down twice from the fantastic one fxxking draining body shot super punch the AI always seems to have. I eventually got a TKO in round 9. BUT I was on 26% Stamina, fair enough after a hard thought 9 rounder. Sugar Ray even though he lost was still on 100% Stamina after 9 rounds of being on his arse multiple times. How in any way shape or form is the accepted as being ok for the game, how can any boxer wether real or fictional fight 9 rounds and still walk out like the walked in. Come the fxxk on like.

It was like boxing street fighter style, totally arcade, no simulation at all and unless it changes hugely or EA by the rights and make the game what it should be I would not by this on a PS5.

Rant done!

Thats very interesting because one would imagine the game should play identically to the steam version and no differently. I'd love to hear from someone how they would play differently? How would the Ai be able to get up 8 times in the console version but not in the PC version...

Yes I was thinking exactly the same, I wish I would have taken a photo and posted it on here. I would say the graphics on the PS5 were sharper but there is a lot of factors than can cause this to differ between PC and PS5.

However the game play was different, I also found PRO level harder and the stamina drain in the Player boxer was more prominent on the PS5, one fight I was down to under 40% by round 3 with what I would say was average punching output.
