No it's definitely blurry. The backgrounds mainly. Some are worse than others. One of the newer venues where it takes place with projectors on the walls in a restaurant looking setting is super pixelated and aliased. Some venues that once looked gorgeous like Empire Pro Day time are now very toned down to where the crowd just is all blurred. It's not a matter of motion blur either as that can be turned off. it's just a forced blur to lower the demands of the background. But on the PC usually you can modify the game to be demanding if you have the hardware or very efficient if you don't. We just have the console version in entirety it appears. This is one of the things I noticed back in the May 2024 footage and asked about but of course that wouldn't get answered.

Same, 1.0 seems to have completely broken the graphics for me and it's surprising to see so few people talking about it. It went from perfect fine back in early access to a low res fuzzy blurry mess for me.

Checked out some videos of it on console and it looks fine there too. If the graphics were this broken for everyone, it'd be all anyone was talking about and we'd all be waiting for a patch to fix it, so I'm not too sure what's going on. My settings and resolution are maxed.

the characters models got all blurry and fuzzy but other stuff like the background and even the ring ropes are even worse and just nauseating to look at now.

The background is blurry because the game had depth of field on, and for some reason there is no way to toggle it off in the settings. Many PC games I play have a depth of field slider and I usually turn it off. It makes the graphics look much better instantly. The devs really should patch a depth of field slider into the options. The general haze in some building is ambient occlusion. Another thing that has the ability to be turned on or off in a lot of PC games. The devs should patch in an ambient occlusion option in the graphics settings. If the devs did nothing else to the graphics, just having these two options would be a massive game changer in terms of how the game looks.

As far as the pixelation goes, you can go into Nvidia control panel (if you have an Nvidia GPU) and mess with the Undisputed graphics settings there. You can enhance and override the in game settings and eliminate a lot of the pixelation. I've cranked everything all the way up and I've had no drop in frames per second in game.

hmmm...funky.
It is crystal clear and and sharp on my PC in 5120x2160. The game is not very demanding, I cranked everything up to ultra and turned off motion blur.

Not sure, if Unity can run ray or path tracing, but THAT would REALLY take it to the next level.

Yeah they definitely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the resolution and character models. ♥♥♥♥ is blurry as hell and completely looks like a totally different game.
