Blows his jaw off "What a punch to the body" "A punch from the Gods themselves lenny" Just stfu Johnny
The introductions are even funnier.
"Coming in from the United Kingdom, winning his last fight by knockout, here is...A fighter."
Then he adds insult to injury by not even getting the colour of my shorts right.
"In the red/blue corner; Wearing the (your colors) trunks... [insert named fighter's name]"
It completely skips the line of 'And in the red/blue corner.' for the named fighter.
I thought I was going insane! They got the colour of my shorts wrong too. I ended up turning the commentary off because its an absolute joke, repeating the same rubbish round after round. How can the devs be happy with that I don't know.
I hope they do, but you know what they say:
"Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment."
No point setting your nickname as it never gets used to announce you so skip the intros too.
I win a belt but no cut scene of celebration or announcement of winner. Only one knockout count animation, but that's been the same since the start.
Career needs some polish to enhance the experience. Maybe Tony Bellew screaming from ringside like he's at an AJ fight ;) (love Tony in case he finds out where I live of course)
I'm enjoying the actual gameplay in career in short bursts but there's still work to do for the devs to get this where they said it would be.
(by the way... What a guy)
"Coming off a hard KO in their last fight..."
While their record shows 41W - 0L - 0D. (Yeah, I'm talking specifically about Katie Taylor). None of the "simulated fights" she goes through register on her record in the game. But the fights that you personally are in against her are registered. It just makes no sense, because it can, and will draw an inaccurate picture for the in-game record counts.
