It's not a stamina bug
You're throwing too many punches.

You're missing too much.

You're not protecting your body.

Lots of questionable things have occurred in this game since I started playing but stamina retention isn't one of them. If you fight a smart fight you can maintain 100% stamina for the first several rounds, focusing on punches that matter rather than throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks. Like of COURSE you're running out of stamina. You're going for the knockout in Round 2 despite absolutely no signs that your opponent is hurt. I've played y'all. I see what you do.

Can there be improvements? Of course. But I will be quite irritated if the final version of this game gets super dumbed down to appease players who refuse to learn how to play it.

Yeah I have a perfect example of it in a fight I just had. I wish it was easy to share the screenshot. I was Joe Frazier against Muhammad Ali. I started on his body early and he knocked me down once in the round 1 and 2. Weaving and jerking all around to taunt on me and dazed me a couple more time until the 6th round where he could only throw 3-4 punches without gassing and I still had 80% stamina. I dropped him with a body shot in round 6 and taunted him back then again in round 7 and he didn't get back up. I ended the fight with 63% accuracy to his 51%. 253 punches landed with 210 to his body and he was still head hunting because he knocked me down twice.

It's the glamour of the big knockout shot*, they just want to swing for the head, constantly, all the time. Gotta go in there, beat their chest, rawr rawr rawr. Then they get KO'd in the 7th or 8th and come here to complain about how the stamina's bugged, or the other player must have cheated.

You know it's this thing I almost feel like I shouldn't even mention publicly. Why tell the others the not-so-secret secret to success? Like everyone else here I want to win more often than not so if the kids don't want to take care of their fighter for the later rounds...why force the issue?

(*Don't tell 'em you can get a flash-KO with body shots, too).

There is definitely a stamina game exploit about where you can drain your opponents stamina in 1 hit if you want to set it so.

I'm not sure about a stamina in-game bug but there certainly is a game exploit around that effects boxers stats and speed during fights to varying degrees depending on how one sets it up.

There is a stamina bug along with damage...both increases..1 or 2 punches at a time by 400 punches your 10-15% stamina left..and damage same..hit some 3 times in 1 spot they will be in red..and the audio will screwy as well

I mean...yeah, there are cheaters. Very obvious cheaters. But complaints that there's something wrong with the native stamina system, when the problem is that everyone wants to fight like Tyson, have been around since day 1.

It's hack with wemod, I use the app when I I play tedious rpgs and don't want to level up so I cheat, they have cheats for undisputed one of them is to easily drain your opponents stamina

Yeah that's exactly what's going on. This guy original ace in the comments has been one of the main people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I had versed him a few times before I ranked up some and he was just a head hunter. Letting me work his body then surrendering in round 4-5-6 after I knocked him down the first time. I only play Joe Frazier in ranked and my main goal is to work the body until I see they are throwing 3-4 punches then gassing. He gasses himself out on punches then I rip a left hook to the body followed by a power right hook to the body which chunks his stamina even more because he's gassed already. If they want to chase me and spam head shots go ahead I will slip and dodge and rip the body all day.

I'm also not trying to win every fight by knockout. I'm 157-34 with 81 knockouts. Once I am ahead on points if they want to run I will let them, I am not going to gas myself out punching air chasing Tyson Fury around the ring. Excited to see future changes though.

absolutely
kurtcobain666 Feb 26, 2023 @ 12:08pm
no wait, let's not be silly. The resistance is badly calibrated. The point is that it's not possible that after three punches with the same arm, the fourth one goes in slow motion. Resistance should decrease gradually, not all at once. Please, let's not talk ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, otherwise this game will never get better. Punches should decrease in speed and power gradually, not all at once.
