These comments are wild man.
Though I admit both times I got up around 7, and given that I think I did the minigame fairly well that seems sort of late for one knockdown. I'd like to see some more quick knockdowns, the kind you get not so much for hurting your opponent but for surprising them, for a touch of realism. Those kinds of 'lights out' knockdowns/animations boxing games love should really be reserved for the knockout blow, any reputable ref in the world stops the fight at that point.
Besides that, the whole animation sequence including commentary when someone gets knocked down feels underwhelming and boring. Just a simple static camera.
some manage to do well , i can't lol my brain can't slip
I played with a friend who doesn't even play video games and he figured it out after a couple fights and was able to get up from a second knockdown. The third one is difficult even for me. I get up about 70% of the time. Forth one I've come close but never gotten up. But it's a system that feels like you could master it and get up 6-7 times, as opposed to FNC where the 4th was difficult and you were always 100% doomed on the fifth knockdown.
...but, maybe try to not go down? Unless your JMM/Gatti/Ward/Castillo you shouldn't really be getting up after 4 KD's anyway. So I guess I'm on the fence with this one.
You bunch are not scared of punch, at least you scared of getting up...
