I feel like getting a refund

Is the game actually gonna get better? I dont want to get a refund than like 2 years later the game is better but has the price tag of a triple A game.

Do any of yall think its gonna get better? It happen with street fighter 5. Awful start but got better with time tho it released at full price either way.

Also its looking like this game is gonna have mad microtransactions having to buy each boxer and possibly other stuff, who knows.

Early access guys.... you should expect bugs and issues for a while till they get it sorted out..... it is only first day of release and not 24hrs old as yet.... give them a chance hey guys for Christ sake! Lol

It's a nice boxing game. I think bigger problem is that people are trying to play it like other fighting game. There is some curve and better you get, the more it looks like a boxing. Or a dancing.

No. I'm not saying that at all. I'm not saying this is like street fighter or mortal kombat. I was saying that street fighter had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ release and eventually got better. Clearly I'm not trying to do a hadoken on anyone in this game or throw a spear at them. I know its boxing, a more realistic fighting sports game.

I saw the game announced on steam 2 years ago. That plus however long before that they must have been working on it. How much longer do they need? Fight night champion came out fully released and amazing in 2011 and the graphics looked better too. Sure this game has the ripples from the punches going on but I rather they just port Fight night champion instead.

The movement of every character I've tested so far feels generic and sluggish. What ever they did with fight night champion they nailed it and no boxing game has ever been to par.

Games like UFC 4 are also made by EA and have millions in funding. Early access is for developers that can't afford to make the entire game themselves. So they release an unfinished version to get funding to continue making it.

I feel the same due to the planned seasons system.
I just feel the game will be a DLC fest.

Not a lot of roadmap are followed.
And the roadmap also scare me about the game having tons of DLCs for no reason. Like even to the point of seeing it F2P.

Yea I am gonna go ahead and refund it. I have zero problems paying the 60 80 dollar tag when it fully releases and its finished but right now the game doesn't feel fun. Fight night champion was an amazing game that looks better and came out on a much weaker console in 2011.

I like those games too. Sadly they are not on Steam. And unless you have someone nearby who is into these games like you, you have to be content playing with AI (which gets ridiculously easy, repetitive and boring even on the hardest setting).

P.S.
Yup even Ricardo Martinez becomes very easy (with a reasonable matchup though e.g. Hardest Difficulty Story mode Eiji Date) once you figure him out.
The one AI that never gets easy though is PSP Rocky's Historical Fights > Rocky vs Mason Dixon. This is a B of a matchup.
