People Quitting In Ranked

Love winning multiple rounds and getting a knockdown finally and then getting disconnected without the result. Would love to see some sort of system that punishes sore losers.

avoiding ranked because of this. if they have a perfect record of 8+ wins and 0 losses I would just leave the match. dont even bother fighting them

Unfortunately you’re totally right. I almost feel like a sucker staying until the end and taking the loss which is sad. But that’s how it’s meant to be played. I can already tell my record is going to be awful lmao

Take away the ability to pause and quit, if you can't do that go to scorecards as I'm sure nobody would quit would be up on the score card, if possible flag player as a quitter and have so many quits gets a player temporarily suspended.

the way I see it is you have a loss on record now, and othes can tell you arent a leaving jerk.
dont fight people you suspect of leaving, and try to stay to the end in your matches

My first game the person quit. Second went to decision and it was a draw lol. Kinda sucked but it was a competitive fight at least. It’s day one though so I expect a lot of rage quitters and online stability issues.

idk just dont get why you would quit the match the fact that its early access and the first day is even more reason to stay in the fight in my opinion.

i did not play a ranked match yet i did get one 3-4 round ko a 12th round ko 12th round split decision loss i think and a 12 round loss that was scored 12-0 idk basically every thing the guy did froze me in my tracks and i could not move or defend at all hardly he also still had a beta tester badge

i thought that was kind of strange maybe you can change it or something anyways i felt like that game was as glitched as it gets and i still stayed all 12 rounds annoyed as can be I still managed to land 350 punches or something but yea it did not feel like i was playing the same game as this guy at all.

i practice in casual online before going in ranked for sure.. im still too bad at the game to go ranked.

Online is basically unplayable right now due to people quitting once you go ahead. If they get knocked down and quit you should get the win, or after X amount of time has passed.

Normally the way this can be resolved outside of punishment for leaving a match is, If they leave, the game defaults to an AI to fill in until the game completes, so you can get your WIN. They avoid punishing people because they just lie and say they got Disconnected somehow and everything goes crazy... I say if your winning the match and they LEAVE, they should just go straight to AI and have it at say medium settings setting or something and you finish getting your rank.

they are being ♥♥♥♥♥ and not playing the game how it should be played. abusing the faults of the online matches.

7-26 I’m pretty sure two players quit on me and it went straight to the ref and declared I was the winner. I’m not 100% sure, but it’s never happened before now.
