I enjoyed the beta. I played fn champion from day release until last year consistently lol. Felt good to have a new boxing game. It has similarities but its not the same.

Fight Night Champion is to me and my friends, one of the greatest games ever made, so any iteration or slight improvement on that formula is a win. We have so many great memories of us crowding the sofa at college and sticking Fight Night on after a night out.

Bro. I saw the Tyson Fury gameplay and was questioning if this was a PS4 game. The fighting looks bland. I think people are excited for this purely out of nostalgia. I was expecting the models to be more flexible, but they all look stiff.

this game is gonna be highly priced to recoup the money they spent getting fighters onboard and doing mocap but keeping stock animations crap.

It’s like a bunch of fifth graders in here arguing either the game is all excusably bad or good. I think this game is in a promising but tough spot. It’s gonna be the only current gen (or last gen) boxing game on the block but going up against a truly great franchise in fight night whose graphics and mechanics have held up reasonably well.

Time will tell how this game turns out and nothing else. Time to see how the game evolves and to what extent. From the beta I can say it’s in a good enough state for any boxing fan that enjoyed the likes of fight night or ufc. But people will likely have to be patient to get an overall presentation that is ready for a major release. I’ll be playing it in a few hours knowing these risks.
