It could have some kind of a randomized personality system where your boxer can throw curve balls at you with his own decisions making each playthrough different.
Like say you recommend that he takes a few more fights before going for the belt because he needs more experience but he is overly eager and goes to for the belt and maybe loses.
This would ofc be manageable so that it doesn't feel like complete rng. So if you were to have an overly eager fighter you would have ways of managing that so that it's not a huge problem all of the time.
Just an idea.
"order testosterone boosters X 50"
"market crappy boxer for 8 months and bet against him after fixing fight."

But you can do ai fights or take control. Turn based boxing on a hex grid. Planning career and generational boxers. Aka your boxers will be able to make offspring. Have a whole stats and perk tree planned and skills etc, none of which is implemented yet. Just working on movement and so movement first
If you wanna pretend you're Don King, go find somewhere else to do so, if you wanna be Canelo's trainer same applies, but don't expect those that want to step into the ring and have that experience to greet you with anything but disrespect, because you're asking the devs to take away their time from what their focus should be on.
and the just working on movement claim... What movement if it's turn based? It sounds worse than OP's idea...
