This is how you make this game better than it is. To make it realistic. Remove Button Punching. Full Punch Control Like in Fight Night.
Remove button punching. Use the Full punch control like in EA Fight Night. Hooks and Uppercuts, Jabs, Straights, all should be done with the Stick. Not the buttons. You make this change, this game will be amazing. You keep the button mashing, this game going to not look realistic and its going to suck.

Remove all the stunned moments. Remove Button Mashing punching. Add Full Punch control with only the sticks. This game will rock.

I like the option to use the face buttons.

Fight Night had both button punch and stick punch.
If they remove button punch then no buy for me.

Used to love the fight night style of punching, BUT I think it limits players by occupying the right stick.

UFC 4 style button punching allows you to then use the right stick for head movement. It removes the need to have to hold down the left trigger and then switch to the right trigger for blocking. You can just flick the right stick and dodge punches all day.

Also using the left trigger + left stick for head movement in Undisputed removes the ability to move your feet and head at the same time. You can currently only slip punches while stationary.

When Fight Night First released there was no button punching. Then cry babies cried cause they sucked at the game and EA released a patch and added buttons. The game went from being very realistic to such a stupid game that I broke it in half and threw it away.

I was ranked top 10 on leaderboard and was the Middle weight Champ of the world on PS4 for 2 weeks.

i disagree, forcing someone to play the way you want ruins the game, nobody should be forced to play a certain way doing that would isolate half the player base. by all means put an option while creating an online match thumb stick controls only that way you get the bout your looking for. i dont see how removing a feature that caters for all in your eyes would improve the game.

Total crap! Im a long, long time stick puncher and i used the buttons and stick to punch and saw no real advantage with buttons. YOu absolutely can not button mash with buttons. Some people may get combos out cleaner but thats the fault of the stick which i thought lacked the sharp response that they do with EAs FN. They need to leave the buttons alone and you need to get off your high horse.

Fight Night on PS4? Is this a marketplace rerelease? I don't remember any fight night games coming out after PS3.

I don't understand how it limits you though. What else would you do with the right stick? I guess you could say that they could have lean functions mapped to the right stick so you could bob and weave whilst moving simultaneously but Fight Night never really needed that they had some bootleg bob and weave whilst moving mechanic added in I think either 4 or Champion also.

That is not a good idea, limits on configs is a step back imo. They should allow for customization though. When FNRD 4 first release they had only 4 configs, which they received enough feedback they later patched to add 2 additional configs 5 & 6 that used face buttons for punches. FN: Champion already had 6 configs on launch.

Do you want the game realistic, or do you want the game to be stupid? Part of the skill is the controls. Whats more skillful? Pressing buttons or using a analog stick in creative ways? IF you watch 1000 games of fight night with no buttons but only analog stick boxing punching, vs 1000 games of fight night with sitck+button punching, there is zero doubt that the latter would look more authentic and realistic.

Do you want a great boxing game, where it takes time and practice to be good, or do you want to just mash buttons like a child and ruin the game?

Children advocate for button mashing. Adults advocate for analog creative punching using only the right stick.

Only children want the buttons to remain.

I am telling you , if you played Fight Night before they released a patch that adding button mashing, then you would know how many times better the game was before the patch. It completely ruined the game.

If you are an advocate of buttons consider this, Which is more skillful, pressing buttons or using a single stick to do left hook jabs straights upper cuts hooks etc?

Clearly using a stick would benefit the more skillful boxer. Anyone can repeatedly press x b y o etc.

It takes skill to throw together combos using the stick.

The only reason most of you want the buttons because you do not have the dedication to truly learning the game and just want cheap thrills.

Thats why most of you will suck.

Same thing in Madden, People dont want to take the time to learn the game and they quit as soon as they are down by 2 TDs.

Problem is most of you are children and hopeful Steel city wont take any of your feedback seriously.

I went 55-0 the first day fight night was released. I think most of your feed back is just pointless and worthless.
