and since few years i see lot of friends going to pc instead of console, essentialy for tons of games and better game price, better quality, mods like workshop etc ...
And they better not flipping cap the framerate if they are going to be doing crossplay. Cap it for the console players, dont be capping a damn thing for me.
if it was only pc, normally most die fast on steam. with crossplay enabled, you normally always manage to get a game.
Because most pc only online games do not last long. A very few manage to keep their numbers or improve. I doubt the pc market is swarming with as many BOXING fans as there are ACTION SHOOTERS like csgo fans.
we just want to the game to have the best chance of having an actual playerbase. cross play should be an important feature.
This is because there are many cheaters on PC.
Healthy users will migrate to ps5
This is an old thread that got bumped. I think it will have cross-platform play as it was leaked awhile ago in the main discord. Plus it's likely why anticheat is coming to minimize the cheaters playing against console. Cheaters still have a few months left before it gets dialed way back. Hopefully a massive wave of bans isn't far off.
cross-platform play ?really??
If the leaked info is to be believed. I don't know much of that kind of stuff but someone went into the discord and started to leak a bunch of information and images they have. The feature of cross play was mentioned. I don't think it means it couldn't be walled off or taken out later by decision but it was believable to those who were in the discord. The person left or got banned immediately and the images and info taken down. It's the move most modern games are doing with SF6, T8, MK1 (i think mk 1 has it). I am not sure if cross play is in the UFC game since it is just PS5 and Xbox but it wouldn't surprise me if they have that too.
I don't really get the logic by keeping anti-cheat off the PC until the end. It may just be to let them get and continue to collect all the types of ways they breach the software before settling on the final shipping solution. I can't think of many reasons to have let it go so long while killing the player base unless they really just wanted to keep those numbers up for as long as possible but I doubt they would do that at the expense of the players that left.
