It's not really plot armor if the enemy can kill you without trouble and decides not to
Well create checkpoints
Also, the game would be way too hard, not to say outright tedious, if he killed you and you constantly had to restart from scratch. That guarantees ragequit
Well put in an option to turn on/off permadeath
Permadeath is definitly not boring. Nothing makes you feel more alive than having only one life. Everything becomes suddenly more exciting when you play this way because you could die at any moment and have to restart all over again. If Doom Eternal has that mode and we talking about a 20 hours campaign, I don't understand why this game couldn't get it also if the difficulty is set right. Permadeath is far from being what you call ''boring''!
More like 30-40 hour gameplay when you're trying not do die at all
"LOOK AT MY SICK SKILL BROS I JUST SAVE AND SPAM RELOAD KEKW I AINT DYIN ON PERMA DEATH" it doesnt matter how difficult you want something to be people will find a way to cheese and they wont care what you think when they cheesed Like people are silly lmao; all the game does is remove the I have to save my game step.
Ok makes sense, but then again like saranacGator said: Tie her up
There's at least a million games where you die and are reset to a checkpoint
Unless it's explained WHY he doesn't kill you, this is kinda dumb
