Two Game-breaking Bugs
There are two major game-breaking bugs that I've seen someone/get myself upon 41.4 hours of play.

1. It seems that whenever I'm moving quickly or doing something specific, the game suddenly gets faster. By that, I mean Mya's breathing, Jimmy's spawn time, Jimmy's movement, even his enter times are all faster than normal. And to further prove this glitch exists, when it's activated, the subtitles don't stay in sync and jump by very quickly, making it almost impossible to keep up.

(Any idea why this happens?? It has happened on my Extreme mode playthrough many times and it has happened unknowingly to a streamer I've recently watched who's playing it on Normal mode. It's REALLY annoying.)

2. I will put spoiler tags here since this is basically how Jimmy's A.I works and about a character in the game.

Normally, Jimmy would follow you to the next floor to surprise you when he's camping at the elevator (the loud thonks he constantly makes when he's entering patrol/camping state). However, on the 2nd Floor, instead of following you, not only does he NOT appear on the 2nd Floor, it seems that he overwrites a trigger for Dr. Bose, making me unable to trigger his first cutscene. The only fix I've found is go to the 3rd Floor to get Jimmy on there and THEN go back down to witness the event.

If the Dev is still updating this game and has the time, could you please take a look into this? Thank you for reading and for all your hard work on this master-piece!

UPDATE: I found out the cause of Bug #1. For some reason, at the menu, normally the game expects you to click only once. But if you click more than once and unload a WHOLE bunch of clicks, the game will go on full sanic' mode and make everything fast. It won't update the frame count, but the game engine, code and A.I. Jimmy's voice lines, they will all trigger very VERY quickly. I'm going to eventually share a video link here of this glitch in action for those who are unaware.
I know why this happens technically. When you click "welcome to the hotel" it calls startgame() method which calls startints() method which starts game intervals (loops for different actions). One of those loops is gameloop(), slowloop() and audiocheck() which are responsible for everything you mentioned: Jimmy's AI, maya's breathing sounds, subtitles. There is no check if startgame() is called second time, This is very interesting, I will add this to my video about At Dead Of Night internals!

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I see. Thanks for your explanation. It's a very fun glitch if you wanna mess around indeed, but annoying if you're a first time player that accidentally triggers this. Hopefully "At Dead of Night 2" if it has a similar intro screen fixes this issue then. And when it's out I'd love to check out that "At Dead Of Night" internals vid! Nothing I love better than binging more "ADON" content and supporting people with views!
