Edit: Forgot that White Day is another game with a stalker and ghosts.
thank you
It's more of a mystery game, but it's also point-and-click movement and there are some Stalker sequences
It's a bit like that Game too.
do you know whats it called
its not so much as unique as these kinds of games arent really made anymore
back in the olden days when games were weird and graphics werent the best we got fmv games which was games with actors and usually the background was a still shot or if lucky some small animations, notable mentions is phantasmagoria and harvestor or hell even the infamous "night trap"
but when game design got better and graphics got much better it was then easier to just create in game characters instead of filming actors as i would assume hiring actors to appear in ur game was more costly then just hiring VA's
nowndays FMV games still exist but i havent really seen a game of this complexity in a really long time. usually FMV games are small little art projects maybe an 30 min game from some indie dev.
The Clock Tower series is great, tho hard to find. Night Cry is a spiritual successor with some of the samv devs. It's on Steam but it's pretty bad.
The Penumbra and Amnesia series are a good fit.
Maid of Sker actually takes place in a hotel. I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the first Remothered. I've heard mixed things about the sequel.
If you like FMV layered over graphics, there's an old horror game called Temujin
