Godsdamn Snots (and also artefacts)
If you don't manage to catch a snot in a bloom blast thingy and they keep eating your plants are you just screwed? Because the archipelago is full of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and it's driving me barmy.

Also are you screwed if you forgot to scan a broken artefact and get the blueprint to fix it? Because I forgot to scan the terrarium before I picked it up and now I can't fix the thing.

Hello there JubilantPoet. The snot monsters can be overcome by completing the planting area where they roam (and nest in during the day), so it's more of a challenge in using spreading effectively and completing it faster than they can eat your plants. With that said, we are currently taking a look at this behavior and working on improvements to make it less frustrating.

As for the artefact, scanning them should not be required. Just having the item in your inventory should unlock the recipe to repair it at your workbench. If the recipe still somehow did not unlock then this is definitely something we need to look into.

As this is our first time hearing of this particular issue, could I ask that you reaffirm that it is not in your available crafting recipes?

I am also stuck on two plots that have snots. One is the aforementioned archipelago upper snot plot, which shows as fully planted with hearts and everything is optimized and harvest-able, but the snots will not transform. They don't go into burrows during the day, they just keep eating the same plant. The second snot problem area for me is in the Forest - Deep Timberland. This was a problem even before the update. I managed to get it all planted, but with random plants thrown in to get the heart explosion. Somehow, it didn't kill the snots, but made most of the plants permanent features instead. I can only change like 4 plants now, so I can't complete the puzzle to make it optimized, and the snots keep eating the same plant over and over, both day and night. Worse, because I can't optimize it, I can't activate the root bridge leading to the crystalite, locking me out of two different achievements.
