the info it gives you is not really anything, how do you feed them or what do you feed them?

Go to the person that makes food, and they will have a recipe for a cure. These only show up when you find a new animal, not sure if you need to scan them or not because I always scanned them.

Scan sick beast blocking the growing zone to unlock cure.
Have cook make cure in the make food interaction.
return to beast, use V to select the cure in your inventory and press E next to the beast to feed the cure to the beast.
