Master duel meta is absolutely awful

You have Labrynth which can litreally lock you out of playing the game if you dont have any card eco.
Yet runic is hard restricted, Which you can play against alot better then Labrynth.
Why do they ruin every official yugioh game I'll never know

runick is restriced because its old enough, lab is still too new. might be next to hit thou. The banlist is not about balance but about sales. it ever was and ever will be and because of that yugioh will always be nothing but a gatcha cashgrad with a massivly coping community of gambling addicts.

They came out in the same set. Both in TCG and MD. They both released a few cards of additional support afterwards too

I've mained lab since it released, way before lady and big welcome were released into the game, and have hit master 1 5 seasons in a row. Lab is amazing... but after climbing the ladder with vanquished soul for a while and then going back to lab, holy crap is there a huge difference. Lab folds like a wet napkin if the opponent has ash blossom. Even if they don't, if lady isn't allowed to chain into other traps, the lab really struggles getting past the first 2 turns. God forbid lab goes second and didn't draw any furniture.

Lab is a lot weaker than people think, it's just incredibly strong if it gets to play turn 1 without any resistance, which is a huge difference when you consider all the other meta decks out there which just flat out win when they get to go turn 1. Difference between lab turn 1 and branded or shs turn 1 is that there's still a chance you can win against lab.

What is that even supposed to mean? The constant limits are the second biggest differentiating factor between TCG and MD, behind maxx "C" being legal. TCG has labrynth fully legal, kashtira fully legal minus arise-heart, runick fully legal minus one fountain, spright fully legal minus elf. MD is the one that keeps limiting consistency cards while leaving the big power cards legal. Try playing any of these decks in MD and you're going to have a fat stack of 1s and 2s across your deck list, while TCG can enjoy their triple fenrir, triple runick tip, triple spright blue, triple eradicator virus (now with transaction rollback for double the floodgate!)

yet one is SUPER LIMITED AND ONE ISN'T in MD

I mean its TCG in a way that all the stall decks are heavily restricted on MD causing the decks that are being used to be the same ones across both MD and TCG
Because runic isn't strong on TCG.
Stall decks are getting heavily restricted on MD which causes people to move to effectively TCG decks

Aside facing Super Heavy Samurai and not opening Droll. The game is "Fine". I wish we could ban Baronne or give it an errata like Goyo had back in the day. It is a bad card on its own but on Extra Deck Puke decks it is yet another point of interaction, it is a searchable Solemn Judgement.

Baronne and Borrelload Savage Dragon should not be Generic.
