Compulsory evacuation device is a very tried and true answer for almost any extra deck nusiance with lots of protection, leting him attack with a set dimensional prision also works
Good old lava golem got new life as answer to almost any boss monster with tons of protection, works as long as the oponent have another monster because the removal is a cost, not a true effect
If you want to be cute, like stardust monsters, its also possible to just let it use the banish itself effect and then target it from the banish zone, requires some very specific cards, but its possible. Burial from different dimension comes to mind. Keep in mind the summon restriction only applies for taking the dragon out of the extra deck, so if you try to goof with burial FOD, you might be biten in the rear because the dragon in the grave is fair game for monster reborn and the likes so its only really worth noting to goof around(the sort of stuff its super funny to pull it off and get away with it)
"Target 1 monster on the field; return that target to the hand."
Dark Core, Normal Spell
"Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; banish that target."
A normal summoned Necroface would also work, returning Red Supernova Dragon to the extra deck. (and recovering all your banished cards)
Ritual or Dark Magician Decks could benefit from hitting Red Supernova Dragon with Ultimate Slayer, using Herald of the Arc Light as fodder. And, as the first reply implied, kaijus and the like are always a valid option. (just watch out for revival cards)
For a boss monster that only have destruction ( and battle) protection, actually you could remove it from the field by non destruction ways such as
-returning it to extra deck,
-banish it,
-Send it directly to GY,
-Use it for tribute for your card,
-Disable its effect, then destroy it
I do run monster reborn cause Imperm on Red Rising will hurt my plays somewhat, so bringing back crimson by bypassing that negate is kind of needed. But again, not a common card used in the deck.
Creature Swap
I run Monster Reborn in RDA too
