It's similar to Baronne being "once while face-up on the field", so if you want more steals, you really need to get quick access to Revitalization and ways to recycle it, which might make getting to Protocol trickier, and Protocol is the backbone of the deck.
Well, all Altergeists are named after different IT things, and such it makes sense to have that name.
Plus, I don't think it's THAT bad.
Welp, see these cards 12 months later. Make a guess, is it going to be in Selection pack or update to secret pack?
Also also, Mythical Beast Chimera getting full revamp as well.
However, there is still no news on what is the main story for series 12 booster box and there isn't much unannounce card slots left and it is going to be release 4 days later.
Actually, the best way to use her without going out of your way with random spells and traps who's single use is to reset her effect, is to have her tribute herself for the effect, then bring her back with either Revitalization or Manifestation, which is something I already mentioned.
While a strong effect, it's not an effect that you should go out of your way to add bricks to the deck just for that purpose when you can just play normally.
Now if only the deck would get an easier access to Personal Spoofing, since that thing's not an Altergeist card, it can't be set from the deck, but it's really important.
In his mind, a deck is only a "control deck" if it runs as many floodgates as possible, so instead of being happy that a fan favorite control deck is getting support, he cries that it's not a floodgate.dek that gets the support.
Honestly, it's like these people are allergic to skill.
My guess is that it's because those have more counterplay, and you can't just stack 5 floodgates on top of eachother and call it a day.
Skill Drain works nicely because Protocol makes the geists immune to it, but you can't search Protocol if you have Skill Drain up first, so you can't just "monke flip purple card", and while Village is strong, the geists aren't very big bodies, so unless you have multiples out, I can just not use spells and run over them.
So you actually have to think a little, what are you bouncing with Silq, when are you tributing with Protocol to negate? One hilarious one that I faced tributed his only geist, shutting down Village, so he just handed me the game then and there.
Basically, deck requires some processing power, rather than "flip purple card and win"
Because good googly moogly did the entire cast of VRAINS get screwed by the tumultuous development problems behind the scenes.
