How do you feel about the gem prices?

I don't like them because buying a 1000 gems does not automatically grant you a card you may need. You also have all the wacky instances when all you get are SR pulls and the next time you open another 10 you get a single guaranteed UR.

I suggest they start charging for the battle pass something like $10 but double the rewards and grant double the gems you earn per day while it is still active if they won't lower the prices. Like sometimes I have bought gems but it is frustrating when you get so very little value especially on a platform where you can purchase a new game for the price of a gem pack. The most expensive gem pack is priced around the same price of a brand new AAA game like Dragons Dogma II, which I think it is ridiculous for one too many reasons.

Not mention a lot of decks fade in and out of competitive play rather quickly.
I think it would benefit it us all if they cut the prices in half. Like sometimes I just need like 10 URs just to play jank.

The gem prices are crap.

Unless there is a really good special going on, they are not worth it unless you can claim them on your taxes somehow.

That is crazy no? People keep creating accounts but similar to the game being an unbalanced mess, they themselves do not see a problem. I have a simple solution that would make everyone happy and wold benefit the game as a whole increasing deck variance because we are all at the fork where we have to choose between building Meta or building Jank. One wins games and get us more gems to keep building but the other is wholesome fun.

For example I need 10 UR cards for God support and like 6 more for one specific U.A brew.
Then I need 2 URs to complete T.G, Volcanic is out of the question because I keep pulling the cards but it is just a Snake-Eye deck that does some burn. I really, really want to build Battle Boxer and much like TGs I am too close.

I ended piloting R-ACE and VS because the fall int he category of deck I genuinely love and also win games. I have always been a big R-ACEIST.

I have repeatedly stated that Master Duel is a money-laundering scheme because it's the only thing that would make the monetization of the game make sense. The game is F2P-friendly from a company that otherwise only makes literal gambling stuff, and the real money prices are frankly extortionate.

they're slowly increasing the UR count in new decks to try and squeeze people into buying the gem packs and it's still not worth it because why would you pay that much money for a tiny chance at the card you want?

mentioned it months back in another post and I'm too lazy to type it all out again but the prices match physical prices of packs so I could care less, been playing day 1 f2p anyway so it doesn't matter to me if they did raise gem prices and it was a rip off.

Pretty awful. I've played the game enough to consider buying something to "support" the game, but have never done so because at these rates it feels like throwing money away. I don't see the point spending $40 to dig for a single digital card when I can spend slightly over that and get a full box of real cards to play with instead, with the potential to make back even more

Eh, one thing for sure. You can't play this game in f2p mode while buying every packs as soon as it came out. It is intended for streamer or whale ( or even someone who created so many accounts). Yugioh, in general, isn't cheap things even in OCG AE region. Crafting system is the legal "cheating" to the point it seems waste to spend real money on this game because it exist.


Now if we compare it with the price of the actual physical card, it might be worth determining. I didn't buy digital currency in MD but instead buying OCG AE packs. The physical, however came with it's own risk.

Just checkout diabellstar prices in TCG and ask yourself, is it worth to invest or just stick with this supposed to be expensive game.

Actually awful. Buying gems outside of specials where they're discounted is the only way I ever bought any. Those aren't even worth it most of the time anymore, 11 bucks for like 2k gems is still straight up trash.

They are way too high for what you get. If they gave us double the gems with the current prices or if they halved their prices for the same amount of gems at least, it would be worth buying from time to time. I can buy 1-2 full games with this money. Definitely not worth buying anything except for bundles and they even reduced the gems bundles used to give while keeping the price close to what it used to be when the bundles offered more gems.

And Needs to be (Looked into) and Over More. I say that both as a Player (of the game) as well as someone that understands the Community (To a somewhat degree)... Maxx C is currently needed for any and all Decks. Just as much as you need to run at least 5-7 Negate effect (cards) in every Deck. Regardless of what your Optimitizng for...
