How to remember the rule effect of Pot cards? (Making you can't draw)
I started using decks that include those cards (Pot of Prosperity, Pot of Extravagance) and cards with draw effect for 5 months, I still can't remember the effect that forbids me to draw. I know I'm so dumb, but if you know a way to solve the problem, tell me how.

prosperity and extravagance are the ones that don't let you draw by card effect

duality makes it so you can't special summon

any other pot card you should question it being in your deck at all

Read the card descriptions when you play them, maybe?

There's this advanced technique that Yugioh grandmasters have passed on to to their children for generations. It's called...

Easy +4000 ATK/DEF for Gren Maju Da Eiza.
Or, less optimally, you could summon Necroface after playing Pot of Desires, get your 10 cards back (which may or may not be a good thing, depending on how valuable the cards that were banished are) and get at least an extra 1000 ATK.
Just end trashbag. May 15, 2023 @ 10:44pm
Smile horizontal (cannot draw card), white pot (cannot special summon).

I wouldn't mind having new cards that revolve around unrestricting 1 copy of a banned card.

"Pot Master"

ATK 0 Link*1(Spellcaster), Material "Pot of Greed", Limit Change 1 Per Deck.
"Quick Effect" Once Per Duel reveal this card to find "Pot of Greed" look at the top 3 cards of your deck & if there or in hand, banish it face down into the extra deck & keep the others by Link Summoning "Pot Master" to field. "Pot of Greed" When played returns to deck instead of drawing while this card is in the extra deck.

Read the card

I know I'm reading cards, but I forget it.
After the activation of pot cards, I see many options in my hand, so I forget the side effect.
So I said I'm dumb. I have hard times dealing with cards in certain conditions.

Simple: don't run pots with drawbacks that actually affect you.

Pot of Duality and Pot of Extravagance in my Floo deck; effectively no drawback. :3 (outside of Extravagance locking me out of Unexplored Winds' draw effect for the turn)

Don't play a deck that's above your skill level.

I personally don't bother trying to remember what each jar or pot does, I just read them as they're used.
We need a jar/pot archetype.
