It's hard to not have fun when you run a top deck and get a free win on somebody who isn't. This is a terrible explanation.
While kashtira is really popular because of new support, and purrely increadibly strong because it's still full power in MD, there are still quite alot of other decks that are not that uncommon to face.

Top decks don't just instantly win against everything not a top deck. Some even struggle more against bad match ups with non-meta decks.
Anyway my point is that the players OP is facing don't just sit around playing the same deck all the time. They probably go do other things like hang in casual where they can play whatever. They may even switch between the various meta relevant decks or use fun decks during lower ranks. OP is only seeing them from one side of things which can cause someone to misunderstand the reality. Of course some people just really like to play the same combo over and over even if its not good lol.
I don't think its insulting at all, its true... its a free win, the deck was designed to be much more powerful so Konami can sell it... its capitalism at work. Don't get angry because you play it and your fefe's get hurt.
I think game is hilariously broken and even Konami know this, that's why the latest anime had the protagonist making a new version to put the fun back into the game, Konami know what a problem modern ygo is.
The only people that defend it are people that actually play those decks.
So I won't Deny any of this. The only thing I can say is that every deck I make will include Chaos so they are almost never the Meta versions.
