Dimension Shifter is now broken

Going second against a Kashtira player who also drew Dimension Shifter in his opener feels like you're just not allowed to play the game. All of my resources get banished, making it extremely difficult to play, AND my opponent benefits from all the cards being banished. It feels like having a knife to your throat, especially because Kashtira can easily build big boards with or without the GY.

I don't think it was a wise decision to leave it at semi-limited when it fits so well into the most oppressive deck that is currently in the game. Dimension Shifter screws over most archetypes while benefiting the one archetype that most needs to be weakened.

Let's go over the counterplay to a Kashtira player with DS who goes 1st:
- Just don't have a deck that needs the GY
- Have Called By in your opener NOPE DOESN'T WORK
- Screw yourself over

Not good. For what it's worth, I won a game and lost a game while in this situation. I played against DS back when it was only really part of Floo, and I didn't call it out back then. This is different. This is just giving a massive buff to a deck that is EASILY top tier even without it.

And if you're going to let Kashtira have Dimension Shifter, then WHYYYY ARE MY SKY STRIKER ENGAGES STILL LIMITED TO 2???!!!! WHYYYYY??? ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO TELL ME THAT ENGAGE WOULD BE SUCH A HUGE PROBLEM, BUT YOU'RE TOTALLY FINE WITH THE BALANCE AS IT IS NOW???? FREEEE USSSSSSS

Dimension Shifter was always broken, people just gave it a pass because it was mainly only used in KFC and Exosisters.

It was a huge pain in Floowandereeze too. Most people overlooked how toxic that card was because it was anti-Tear.

I agree that it wasn't really a thing prior to Tearlament, but anti-Tearlament sentiment certainly encouraged people to craft it. Floowandereeze was more insufferable than toxic I suppose. Compared to Exosister since Floo normally couldn't OTK you if you just skipped a turn.

Easy to use floodgates are always terrible so no surprise here. As a Chaos player shifter has always been annoying and only recently stopped being a game ender thanks to the new Chaos cards that can play under it.

The thing that makes something problematic is having a deck that can use it. Thats why EEV was ignored so often until it became searchable.

Just another floodgate that need to be banned. Just because its only stun decks or Floo/Exosisters that love to abuse it does not mean it should be legal. Its like saying Block Dragon should never be banned just because it was mainly used by one deck but yet it was still banned cause of how broken it was.

I still think its funny that my Predaplant deck still got Ophrys Scorpio semi limited when instant fusion is banned.

More generally, the fact that being able to play Shifter inherently requires you to be able to play through Shifter due to its symmetrical nature. If an otherwise good deck can do so, then Shifter becomes less good.

I am pretty sure it was brilliant fusion that got him limited in the first place someone can of course correct me but I know he was used for that which then extends to gem knights FTK
