I didn't get to do anything that duel but normal summon and swing for game. I literally won off of 1400-1600 beat sticks because all they drew was hand traps.

Hey man, at least your stalling has a purpose. I've been running into decks that have no win condition and are just toxic stalls. Not even necessarily good ones, just not something I prepare for. Battle faders, performapal mosquito, super hippo carnival, spirit reaper, etc. I thought people who didn't want to play the game were using self-tk decks, not the exact opposite.

Also if your one player's fun is contingent on the opposing player's choices then we kind of have a bigger problem in the core game design at hand if you ask me.

I'm disappointed I wasn't able to do much with Ben-Kei OTK (Swordsoul's typical board makes it pretty hard to navigate unless you open your board breakers) as I really just wanted to be done with this event with ruthless efficiency since all the decks I have in this game are Fusion/Link based. Had to scramble to cobble together something for the event and welp, it's Drytron time I guess.

Im with you, i too tryed to play Ben Kei otk as a back up because i hate Synchro decks but i picked the easy way out. Just play Numeron, Only to get the gems
