Its mostly just newmeron. The ones doing interesting things with it are rare.
Bad archetype, annoying deck. Tenpai themselves aren't good they're just a 1 card combo in every card Synchro spammer, what is good is the fact that they can just play as many handtraps and board breakers as possible
I don't like decks like Tenpai designed at their core to go second never feels like its even capable of producing interesting results funny how I feel this is totally different when players take a deck and build it to go second

Edit: It is a real shame tho because aside from the green one all of the monsters look great shame that art is wasted on it

I will say I don't like decks designed to win immediately. Yugioh is more fun when it lasts multiple turns.

Oh the art is amazing. Love it. So cool. Yes though the type of deck is pretty bad for the game.
I like the idea behind it but the execution is terrible. Going second needed a buff, and the community needed a slap in the face to remind them how many busted board wipes exist, but this was probably the worst possible way to do it. Seriously, I mean that. Dragons are the worst type they could have chosen, they already have way too much slop available to them. It has led to the current TCG scenario where with heavy hits on the banlist, tenpai isn't even a real deck anymore, it's just an engine thrown into dragon slop piles that lets seals or magnamhut be a disruption that then becomes a one-card otk. Synchro is the worst summoning mechanic they could have chosen for this, it's already the type known for generally being the most toxic and mostly converging on either negate turbo or degenerate youtube combos/loops. This just adds another tool to their arsenal that isn't fun to play with or against for most people.

A field spell and a synchro monster that just tell your opponent they're not allowed to play the game and their choices don't matter is a lazy excuse that simply creates an equal problem to rival the first one instead of even attempting to fix it. Not a single meaningful restriction on any of those cards either, so like I said they can be splashed as an engine to cheat out wins after playing through disruption. I'm not gonna be a whiny baby and say the deck plays itself or takes no skill, but the bar is pretty low and it would take some HARD misplays to mess it up if you have even the vaguest idea of how the deck works. It creates a rather frustrating scenario when you have to use both hands to count how many times your opponent messed up and they still have lethal anyway because they fumbled 36k damage down to 10k, which still happens to be over 8k.

I honestly don't even think this deck deserves to be called a necessary evil. It's just another villain that is competing for space and any benefit that comes out of this is purely coincidental

That's kinda every deck printed in the last ten years, though? Tenpai is especially bad about it, but it's alarmingly easy to just pull a 10k attacker out of nowhere.

Being ABLE to win immediately is one thing. Being designed to win immediately is very different. One can play followup and won't win every game against a competent opponent. Ones like Tenpai however basically only win immediately. The drop off is pretty large if they fail.

I've been playing the new Drytron support and fucho pass
(the rank one bird that's immune to everything) is normally enough to win against the Deck but I hate being forced to play it every time i'm matched against it simply because everything else I play won't survive the turn.

Fuwalos Maxx ect just make the deck more unbearable and the amount of Games I've played where they just top deck Droplet Duster Super poly on your only responses just makes the game feel worse.

Not sure what else they can do besides ban maxx and possibly limit the quickplay tho.
Some people have mentioned Drident but i doubt it.

Honestly looking at banlists over the last year I gotta say that most of the hits to the best decks have barely mattered or happened too late.
Glad Tenpai got hit early and the unhits to cards last year were amazing but there weren't that many meta shifting bans.
Part of the reason is the delay between releasing the cards in game and banning them when they leave the shop but still I wish the developers were more proactive in making the game enjoyable to play. Masterduel is the perfect playground for experimentation I wish they threw more curve balls to separate the game from TCG OCG.

it's either fast win or fast lose, very good deck if you don't have a lot of time to play the game

boring deck, poorly designed cards like sangen summoning, for some reason they thought it was a good idea to allow a deck to be able to OTK through prosperity which MD never really had to deal with much but there was a time in the TCG where that card was at 3 so you were basically always guaranteed to draw one of their 1 card starters and OTK off of it. Honestly I don't expect this deck to ever fully go away either unless they outright ban certain cards. Like Papa Shekels said, it's dragon typed so a lot of dragon decks can slot the engine right in for an OTK strat or even Fiendsmith like some are doing. It's just a huge design mistake imo.
