Exchange card system
What do you think if there was an exchange cards system where you can exchange cards with other people instead of crafting them or pulling them from a pack ?

but ofc there should be some type of Balance like only 10 exchangeable cards per week or month.

Pokemon TCG online did this before their transition to live. You were only able to exchange cards that you got via codes and packs you bought with irl money. Since their transition to Live they have done away with this system however. While it sounds good in theory, my concerns would be that it would be an incentive for malicious individuals to breech people's accounts when, at least to my knowledge you don't really hear of that happening. That's my two cents on the matter.
This is just a way to make the game even more F2P Friendly since all you have to do is make alt accounts and trade with those
Pointless for this game.
Instead simply allow people to dismantle cards from the extra packs that are a waste of space at this point xp

In an ideal world, it would be interesting, but like in any game with its own trading system; would add "fictional value" to the cards within the game. So the more competitive some cards are, the more cards or higher value cards you are required to trade for them with another player.

And thats without menttioning; it can also be exploited by players; say making new accounts as offten as possible, just for the sake of hoarding/getting the competitive new cards just to trade them.

The current system, while obious, it makes it pretty clear Konami's strategy is to motivate players to spend some money sooner rather than later; while also motivating people to be active on their accounts to retain a healthy playerbase; even so ranked is a dissaster without some minor adjustmenets that would make it better.
Something pokemon has also done before, is have their paper cards act like sort of amiibos with the e-reader sets, I don't entirely remember if that was limited to being scanned just for a few pokemon video games, or their online tcg client too.
Having an option to translate paper cards into the digital client could be cool
No real reason for it. You already have a trading feature yourself in the form of crafting. The only actual benefit this could provide would be if people could trade royals or something, but then that would just spawn a new wave of bot accounts farming royals unless they restricted it to paid gems in some way, which would make the feature useless. So either it makes the game worse for everybody else, or it only benefits a few of the biggest whales

They already did that in the old video game adaptions with the password system. Each card has an 8 digit number you can use to get it in-game!
But of course, since you can just look them up online (and because it annihilates game balance to get the best cards at the start), they started putting in-game restrictions on the system.

But we have the crafting system here, so they won't implement it.

Alt accounts is cheating.

No it isn't. Steam even made it possible to create new accounts while not needing to re download another copy of Steam. Meaning u can even have the different accounts on one app. I've been thinking about trying this out myself. It would make it easier to build a new deck, like all the others do when they want those first time benefits.

Both Konami and Valve obviously know about this. It drives of copies downloaded for Konami, generates traffic for Valve, & gives players gems for a new deck. Win-win-win as they say.

It is a form of cheating and I don't care what anyone else says. It literally gives you an advantage over other players.

I have played games that where players have alts it gives them the advantage against other players in PvP. If you need an alt to actually play that game competitively, then there's something wrong with that game. It is not normal to have to create an alt.

U have the same advantage and ability.

Cheating is when only ONE side has the advantage; whether it be through knowledge or an aggregation of objects.

@omega

i have 4 accounts.

my first one has a dinomorphia deck that looks very similar to to the decklists you can find on master duel meta. needless to say the deck was garbage.

my second morphia deck i gave up after i noticed that its too dependant on knowing the opponents archtype in advance.

the last one i gave up after playtesting almost every other competetive MD archtype on dueling nexus.

creating new accounts is much faster than "earning" gems. single card exchanges dont do sh**, real improvements require an overhaul and going back to the drawing board.

i dont think its an issue that creating multiple accounts is "normal" for returning players.
its better than to be stuck on an inferior decklist for several weeks/months.
