Wtf is purrely?
First turn they end on an xyz and 2sets. That's fine. But during my stand by phase the xyz draws 3 card from the spell card attached to it as material. Then the mf summon another xyz, overlaying it on the one on the field, and it also gets to draw 3 card because it has the same material and it's still my stand by phase.
Is this just how purrely is? Or was that just the result of a god opening hand?

Both depends on the starting hand just like most rogue deck.

That's just a good hand though a similar game plan, rarely will they ever get to stack 3 Sleepy's on their Xyz to do something like that

They high rolled. Its a decent archetype but this isn't what they do every time.

Their field spell can null your whole deck if you rely on targeting. And they just stack until they get a tower. The particularly annoying part is that their searcher while has the opponent randomly pick a card, doesn't stop them from picking 3 of the same card as options.
That's how you lose games to that more often, you can't deal with the board the first turns because of the field spell or interruptions, and then with enough materials nothing short a kaiju can deal with the unaffected monsters that steal your cards until they get enough material to OTK.

It is fairly reliant on knowing the correct way to chain effects and knowing what is the last possible window to get the quick play spells out. I'd wager that is why the deck isn't as popular as it is actually able to go against the best decks.

Yeah they are fairies, celestial beings, they don't need to be a mortal animal.
