Wait, what do you mean this isn't 2022?
1 card I noticed in that pack was Chronomaly Vimana
Ik that's just cause of K9 but I like to think it means we're getting Chronomaly support to make that deck playable
Its a little ironic that the card that made Maliss such a huge consistent threat was the card that came last in a later set, and is now the first to get hit. I mean, it makes sense, its what really solidified Maliss' tier, but it still sucks.
Kali-yuga should've joined Scythe for the same reason.
Depends on how many Ryzael decks were doing it, also technically K9 could be the reason since they can just make the Rank 5 to pop it
It really makes me wonder how many cards on the banlist would actually be used if they were all unbanned. Aside from universally helpful ones like PoG and GC.
Some forbidden cards may be broken in niche circumstances, but in practice, would they really be worth slotting in over any of the more powerful engines used in today's meta decks, or the control effects they end up with?
Most cards are locked up just to get players to buy new product. Others are there for being frustrating for players to play against like all the Sanctifire targets. Most can come off due to being long crept out of the game like Mirage of Nightmare. Which I'd totally play in my True Draco deck. But, others need to stay because they are either to oppressive like Imperial Order. Or, too much gas like Painful Choice. Decks are getting consistent enough nowadays to the point that they'd probably not even run Pot of Greed if it was legal at one.
I haven't seen anything on the K9 cards. Preemptive hits are fine I guess.
