Rikka is one of the loaners, so I'll probably just play my own version of it. Only needed to change 3 cards. I'm a bit confused as to the ban list myself. It seems really lenient in some areas. I doesn't really feel like that much of a "theme".

I was baffled apart from regulus, rikka sunavalon is basically at full power?! is any other key card missing, cause I'm seeing like most of them available. what are they smoking...

Oh shut-up smartass, sounds like you're just salty because you're losing to it. Red-Eyes had to play "without him" for years now and until KONAMI decides to give the archetype proper support that beats "Dragon pass" (which is an incredibly low bar to begin with) you really have no point here.

I wouldn't even say it needs to beat Dragoon pass. Just something of its own that is comparable would be great. Dragoon is more Dark magician after all. You can use any dragon but you need DM by name. How is that fair?

Still you can definitely win without him. Like you said we did it for years.

I have no idea what I'm playing yet - might be LS, might be Plunder if the Runicks aren't murdered worse than they are on ladder, might be Ninja. There's a few options I have that I enjoy for events like this, and I did note that all the LS stuff seems to be legal...

Rikka has a solo gate so they basically can't hit any of the cards or it's going against the Theme Chronicle theme being "Solo Gate Archetypes"

Won't be surprised if they banned the good HERO boss monsters, especially if they decided to hard ban AG. Gonna be another crappy Theme Chronicle, probably just see DM and BE like every other year

Kind of annoyed that Sera got hit. Not that the deck is completely unplayable without her.

Will have to look at various other decks to see what I can do. Genex is mostly playable. Just have to adjust the ED a bit.

Sure they can, summoning Chaos MAX is one of the main things the Blue-Eyes Deck you fight in solo mode tries to do and they banned it for the event (same with e.g. Malicious Bane for Evil HEROs).

Yep they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killed HERO, in fact not only did they manage to kill HERO they killed it even harder than they did the last 2 times, why the hell did they ban Sunriser but they never touched the Xtras or Vision HERO Trinity

Wow they didn't even ban the new LADD cards, they also didn't hit Gunkan Suship again even though it has no reason to be here

I'm not sure if the SP Challenge sections count as "Solo Gate" since they don't really have any lore associated with the gates, and unless I missed it BEWD doesn't have one. Nor does HERO for that matter.

Of course, I'm just speculating since I don't have any way to know for sure, but it seems like the way Konami would do the banlist for an event like this: Haphazardly at best.
