called by the grave, crossout designator if you also are using it are the most common strict counters to it. If you're playing a deck that doesn't have many extenders or they die to one ash blossom those are really your best options.

Even if you do play a deck with multiple extenders you'll still need to learn to put yourself in a position where you won't be hurt by it as much because you can't always draw one of those counters to it. Part of why you used to see so much Adventure cards, currently Kashtira and soon Fiendsmith is because they are engines that can force out interaction before you main strategy can come online.

Opening 2 is good for you because that's one less combo piece or other form of disruption for you to deal with. Ash + Handtrap is 2 cards you have hitting you going first instead of just one. Ash is a HOPT. Tell me. Are you just a Madolche or Beetrooper player trying to get buffs for Maxx "C"?

What exactly is even the problem? Only 11 out of the 57 cards here can even be ashed, and 8 of them are just draw cards. If you cut out the worst ones and slimmed the deck down, then played a board wipe that doesn't also summon from the deck, you'd have the same win condition but more consistent and completely immune to ash

Oh man. I miss this deck. I can tell you right now you don't need half these cards. You want Necroface to hit the other copy. Having more than 40 cards makes it less likely to happen.

but more cards means more banished for gren maju ik at some point its over kill but ooga booga big number idk what to cut as i removed battle fader and immediately started losing more to direct attacks as i have few monsters

if this is the kind of strategy you want to go with, typically you'd just go 2nd since you want to punch with a huge Gren Maju. Things like Battle Fader won't be necessary with that in mind. Generally things like Raigeki or just Dark hole are better for your type of deck since you'd ultimately use cards to clear the entire field anyway with those cards. It's mostly about redundancy being cut out in your deck.

With unga bunga in mind cards like dd dynamite aren't really necessary, or the 2 trap holes. If you cut out just the cards I talked about that's 13 that aren't really really advancing that strategy at all. There are a few others you could honestly stand to remove to like D fissure simply because this is a card that is better going first. I get it banishes and that's the synergy here but going 2nd its best use, that is disrupting your opponent, doesn't get much use here. Same for the pot card that shuffles banished cards back and draws you a card, that's actually negative synergy. This could be a budget option I understand tho since we might not have upstart goblin and its an UR, but this is a case of a card that is only good after setup has already happened with something else that has banished monsters. This also can't shuffle back facedown or nonmonsters either.

As long as Cancer & incoming Mulcharmy's remain in this game we are never limiting Ash. Ban Cancer & we'll talk.

ah yes, limit ash as konami is about to print 9 more coppies of maxx c.

ash is a hard once per turn anyways, it will barely come up more than once per duel unless you're playing really bad decks in plat 5.
Would be better if Veiler got hit.
