The card specifically that was pointed out the link was the azamina regina which seems to have a crown/halo like feature found on some of the dogmatika cards
I mean, that checks out on the creepiness. It's supposed to be the root of evil/sin that corrupted the white forest, its like supposed to be primordial evil stuff or something.
From looking more into things, while some art choices/effects are similar between azamina and dogmatika/despia, whether there is supposed to be a link or possible link in the future is unclear and is only speculation I guess :S

Edit: while not competitive...it actually looks functional? I don't know enough about snake-eyes itself, but from what little I looked at, each card seems to be fine to work together for this to work out far better than it has any right to
I made sure to point out TWICE I didn't include them...I kept with the past/relevance to the diabell (both) story. The goblins are there as bounty hunters trying to catch debellstar, the only relevance they have is that somehow the beast accidentally ate one of the spoils at some unknown time with some unknown affiliation to the white forest.
There is literally a ton of different theology through this whole thing, there is greek, celtic, christian and some Japanese. At what point was any of this about Christian specifically? Is there some link to dogmatika I don't know? and rather than being snide, you could explain things to me since that's what I actually want from this discussion
Unless I'm mistaken, most of the Dogmatika thought Fallen of Albaz was dangerous, so they had to hunt him down. Ecclesia found Albaz but spared his life.
Azamina
Attribute LIGHT
Types Illusion / Fusion / Effect
Level 12
ATK / DEF 4000 / 4000
"Queen of the Azamina" + 1 Fusion or Synchro Monster
Must first be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by Tributing 1 "St. Azamina" you control and 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Cannot be destroyed by card effects. Each time your opponent activates a card or effect, all monsters your opponent controls lose 500 ATK immediately after it resolves. Your opponent cannot activate the effects of monsters with 0 ATK.
The other Diabel cards are looking great too, so much synergy! More hi-speed syncs and synergy with snake-eyes too:
Mystic Mystery of the White Forest
Attribute FIRE
Types Illusion / Synchro / Tuner / Effect
Level 4 CG
ATK / DEF 700 / 2000
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 2 "White Forest" monsters in your GY; place them face-up in their owners' Spell & Trap Zones as Continuous Spells. During your opponent's Main Phase, you can (Quick Effect): Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon using this card you control. You can only use each effect of "Mystic Mystery of the White Forest" once per turn.
And more, I really think this deck with everything (but goblins) mixed in is going to be crazy good
