Bug with the window to activate effects
I am not sure why, but quite often when a card effect that shoul've been activated, it is not. This is happening very often with some cards sent to the graveyard. For example, "Danger! Bigfoot" not always have its effect activated. This isn't happening just for me, I saw this happen to my opponent sometimes even with different cards.

If the card requires discard as cost it won't trigger if it doesn't require discard as cost then it will trigger

Yes, but it is not restricted just for these cards, haven't you experiencing something weird with this?

I think I've seen Aluber or Albaz not activate after a double rez from Double Hooking, and I think it was the first in order that didn't, but the second did.
What you think is a bug might just be you who have not read your card and your opponents cards properly.

Yes, I thought it was that, but I realize it wasn't when I saw my oppnenent not being able to activate his effects with the "elder entity N'tss" without I activating anything to stop. Again, this is just an example, but I see this quite often. It's not restricted to a specific card

You're going to have to give replay IDs so other people can see and maybe help identify where there either might be a bug or where it could be missed timing, a prevented activation, or otherwise.

As an example, certain effects miss timing not simply by bad text(the "when" vs "if" wording that screws a lot of cards over), but by the chain of effect resolution. If a card is moved to the GY during a chain and it would be able to activate it's effect as a result, if by the end of the same chain resolution that effect would no longer be valid, the game would simply not give you any prompt.
in the options you might want to change Self Chain to "on".
While possibly unrelated to your case , you should also change activation confirmation to "switch".

you might prefer different settings, but undoubtedly, the default settings in MD are crap and players need to adjust them.

Ohhh ok, thank you!

But this would be necessary if much more people have had the same problem. As it doesn't to be the case, all good! But it's still weird
