That's not it. I needed to get gems because of fiasco with sky strikers, so I went from novice to diamond and didn't find a single zombie deck, unless you want to count the vampire zombie that horus people make
edit: thinking about it, if you were "just getting back into this trash" and didn't bother to read anything (as yugioh players oft do, or do not in this case) horus DOES kind of look like a zombie deck
Need more backrow hate my guy. Take out the field spell, Balder can't negate your entire existence until they reset it. Alternatively, find a way to bait the negate and banish the man. Difficult to deal with mainly because most decks don't expect to have to deal with it. One of those things that's so much easier to deal with and less threatening in Bo3 formats.
Big oof, both of those have their engines straight up killed by the type change even before Balar comes into play. Especially the Tear side. I feel for ya, I've been running into the same thing with Macro Cosmos lately, which is likewise a silver bullet that keeps my deck from doing anything until I can out it.
you practically can't make Kitkallos or Kaleidoheart if you have Zombie World on field since they both require Aquas
That's the complaint. OP ran into a Zombie World deck while running Tear. Which yeah, hard counter.
