Didn't think zombies would be on the radar for scrutiny. What's going on with zombies?

Now I'm just curious, what deck are you talking about? Zombies have not been meta-relevant since the days of eldlich with 3 of every floodgate, perhaps some punk zombie stuff at the start of last year

You sure you are high enough in the rank? Cause the majority of the decks I run against are either Snake Eye or Horus

Balerdrach too ballin' for op to handle.

That's not it. I needed to get gems because of fiasco with sky strikers, so I went from novice to diamond and didn't find a single zombie deck, unless you want to count the vampire zombie that horus people make

edit: thinking about it, if you were "just getting back into this trash" and didn't bother to read anything (as yugioh players oft do, or do not in this case) horus DOES kind of look like a zombie deck

Gotta be Zombie World control. Only zombie deck really seeing any use as anti-meta, even Eldlich is largely off the radar.

Need more backrow hate my guy. Take out the field spell, Balder can't negate your entire existence until they reset it. Alternatively, find a way to bait the negate and banish the man. Difficult to deal with mainly because most decks don't expect to have to deal with it. One of those things that's so much easier to deal with and less threatening in Bo3 formats.

its tearlaments with zombie world, zombie world with syncro. Its full of zombie monsters this time arround. Did the meta changed?! I havent played this for some time.

This zombie world deck is super hard to counter. Its fun to watch ngl.. But deadly when you lose. -_-

No, tearlaments is still neutered into obsolescence. You can still play some mill pile decks with them but they are nowhere near good enough to be considered meta, at best they can high roll a mill and end on like a baronne rulkallos elf and cryme

Big oof, both of those have their engines straight up killed by the type change even before Balar comes into play. Especially the Tear side. I feel for ya, I've been running into the same thing with Macro Cosmos lately, which is likewise a silver bullet that keeps my deck from doing anything until I can out it.

With how infrequently I play, I dread the day I see dimension shifter when I play unchained.

wait, tear playing zombie world? that's awful, that's anti-synergy

you practically can't make Kitkallos or Kaleidoheart if you have Zombie World on field since they both require Aquas

That's the complaint. OP ran into a Zombie World deck while running Tear. Which yeah, hard counter.

To be honest, the deck actually doesn't care that much about the D Shifter if you didn't know that. Most of the time your cards are getting popped anyway and they trigger off being destroyed, not going to the GY.

Yeah, it does suck if Sharvara and/or Yama are banished but you always end up with your second/third ones anyway, so the card is still very strong with Unchained.

A lot of the topping lists when the deck was at full power were siding it. We even main decked it before the support came out.
That's fair. I just like having those resources in grave for future plays so I hate to be caught lacking without having the gy for 2 turns if I burn everything or get field wiped.
