Wait wrong franchise, sorry.
Yeah no, the archetype play is not what i'm complaining. What one refers to when talking about ''generic cards'' or ''generics monsters/boss monsters'' is to staples that may (and absolutely are) played in almost any currently optimized deck to make a same-ish meta endboard. As I wrote in many replies, a situation of ''all roads lead to rome''. So meaning, the situation that many archetypes are ignored for their own cards, and only abused to summon everything they need, instead of playing the actual archetype cards.
The OP is mostly a critique about the archetype being better than ever before, and yet people still using it to play any other broken af meta bosses and staples, like they could before with many other engines, and have been doing for the longest time. It's mostly disappointment.
I'm incredibly happy for how WELL the deck feels at the moment and how well it does against literally any endboard that isn't your average tournament deck (which is sadly what most players use in plat+) , and it can from time to time even deal with that if you have decent rng and know your deck well enough.
Yeah, absolutely, some Blue-eyes centric decks have been used to summon another generics in the past. But there were also ''pure'' blue-eyes decks that did decently well outside and even inside tournament in the past as well, and worked by themselves. What I feel is ironic is that Blue-eyes is stronger than ever, and still true to it's roots, even with all the upgrades it got with this new wave, and yet it's somehow not looked after for the Blue-eyes themselves, but rather to summon your everyday meta endboard that doesn't even depend on blue-eyes strats and can be achieved with at least half a dozen other engines. It's kinda silly.
Aye, for copyright issues I believe. It WOULD be reaaally nice to have. But we still got a HUGE upgrade in terms of power with this last wave.
