Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

İstatistiklere Bak:
''Blue-eyes'' players
Imagine the archetype getting a huge buff to consistency, only for it to get used as just another generic boss monster summoning engine.
The ladder honestly shares a single brain cell.

As an (actual) Blue-eyes player, I'm disappointed, but it was to be expected.

"You maybe have Blue-eyes but you're not Steve Rogers."

Wait wrong franchise, sorry.

To be able to play a strong blue eyes deck in the current format/meta its something i'd never expected. It feels so fresh and fun and out of place. just enjoy it while it lasts. it could be years before we get something like this again. maybe its not the strongest and maybe its generic. i cant answer that. but for sure its better then what blue eyes had before.

Yeah no, the archetype play is not what i'm complaining. What one refers to when talking about ''generic cards'' or ''generics monsters/boss monsters'' is to staples that may (and absolutely are) played in almost any currently optimized deck to make a same-ish meta endboard. As I wrote in many replies, a situation of ''all roads lead to rome''. So meaning, the situation that many archetypes are ignored for their own cards, and only abused to summon everything they need, instead of playing the actual archetype cards.

The OP is mostly a critique about the archetype being better than ever before, and yet people still using it to play any other broken af meta bosses and staples, like they could before with many other engines, and have been doing for the longest time. It's mostly disappointment.

I'm incredibly happy for how WELL the deck feels at the moment and how well it does against literally any endboard that isn't your average tournament deck (which is sadly what most players use in plat+) , and it can from time to time even deal with that if you have decent rng and know your deck well enough.

I get where you comming from, but even Blue-Eyes had used generic monsters; liek during the XYZ era they used the Hieratic and Tachyon XYZ monsters.

Lets admit it, generic monsters are used in every deck they can fit in; Utopia have its own archetype and the damm monster is splasheable on any lvl4 deck; even one of the strongest xyz mosnters for its time was generic as f*: Evilswarm Excition Knight.

Yeah, absolutely, some Blue-eyes centric decks have been used to summon another generics in the past. But there were also ''pure'' blue-eyes decks that did decently well outside and even inside tournament in the past as well, and worked by themselves. What I feel is ironic is that Blue-eyes is stronger than ever, and still true to it's roots, even with all the upgrades it got with this new wave, and yet it's somehow not looked after for the Blue-eyes themselves, but rather to summon your everyday meta endboard that doesn't even depend on blue-eyes strats and can be achieved with at least half a dozen other engines. It's kinda silly.
"Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon" is yet to be available in Master Duel, and that card is released 6 years ago....

i understand now better what you mean, and i kinda agree but only based on personal experience since the cards were released, maybe people are just trying diff strategies based on their liking, even though in the end they use their cringesmith engine to set their board,

Aye, for copyright issues I believe. It WOULD be reaaally nice to have. But we still got a HUGE upgrade in terms of power with this last wave.

dude i lose to any deck. I deleted all my ur cards and removed the game from my list.
I am done.
I just can't no more. Always ♥♥♥♥ blocked turn 1 with ash's or any type of negate.

This meta is not for me man.
Blue eyes is not ok. Not even close. lmao.

It's the illusion of choice I think. I hate redundancy but, again, all paths lead to rome.
You have many options, but will generally face the same 2 or 3 variations of an endboard that blocks you as much as virtually possible lmao.
Agreed, it's not very fun.

Edit: you know what has been fun for me? take a hyatus, let your account reach bottom rank, and grind to plat or higher from there. It helps a lot with burnout, and let's you appreciate the game's panorama. You'll also get a lot more variety in duels until high Gold.
This is fact's. Man my last duel the guy was summoning non stop 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cards from fiendsmith non stop.
