That's how I found that many cards in the bundle are either R or SR turned into UR after giving them an alt-art. That's a scam because these alt-art false UR replace the chance of getting a true UR card.
Instead of getting a card like Sky Striker Mobilize - Engage!, I am getting copies of false UR cards like Sky Striker Ace - Shizuku and Sky Striker Ace - Hayate. Sure, if you already have the deck and you want to add the alt-art because you love it, that's awesome, but if one wants to build the deck from scratch, these alt cards are just in the way of you achieving that goal. Trash Konami sale tactics!
- alt arts don't matter in this math, it's like a "prestigious" version of the card so UR it's fine, so no, you make no sense whatsoever, let them have whatever rarity for "alt" copies.
- the card economy at least is not like in the paper counterpart so you don't have cards that go for 100$+ per single copy.
given that the economy is flat, so any UR from secrets or master packs has virtually the same value, the rarity is just a sh1tshow of inflation but the 50/50 ratio has to stop, it's fine with alts.
I think OP's point is that instead of getting "actual" URs, they are getting cards they don't need as URs because it pads the pack. Instead of getting what they actually need. That said, I can't say the alt arts being UR is wrong either, since once they are gone, they are gone. Yay for FOMO tactics.
Someone gets it at least
idk what you're trying to say, blaming them for your luck or just because they're a "corporation"
imagine not understanding that more URs is pointless if you don't get the ones you want/need.
"Wow! I got 2 UR cards that are normally rare, if I get one more, I might actually be able to craft the UR I need!". Its not like the rate of URs went up, just the pool of URs to saturate the ones you need.
The rate of UR given to you is the same regardless of how many UR cards are in the pool. Having more UR cards in the pool does not increase your chances of getting a UR card. It does, however, reduce your chances of getting the card you want.
I don't know why it's so hard for some to understand this.
