How to report player for inappropriate name?

I just had a duel with a player with an inappropriate name that is discriminating to my nation of origin. I can't find a place to report the player and I also can't find the player after the duel.

if it was a ranked match, you can just report them in your duel logs area. If it was anywhere else, I don't really think there is anything in place for you to do anything about it.

there's no report option for inappropriate name, abusing mod/cheat tool report option may lead to you getting banned

You can't report people for inappropriate names, only slow play and/or cheating

You can't, your best option is contacting support, telling them the name filter doesn't catch whatever word his name contains and hope it gets changed.

there is filter, the thing with the name you posted is it has letters around it which transforms it into a new word entirely. Otherwise noone would be able to say words like class, brass, bass, etc.

There actually is a filter, even if it's really wonky. Basically, it only catches restricted terms at the start of a word. For example, you can't change your name to "[slur]1", but you can change it to "1[slur]". You can test it yourself.
The example you gave actually can't be used as a name.

I guess in that case you wouldn't be able to name yourself the english equivalent of ansatsu if that word is censored. Kinda terrible to use any kind of filter like that tbh... especially since ansatsu is a card in Yu-Gi-Oh!

You know i cant see what that word is right? And well, its not your comedy, your sensor of humor, but it is someone elses. Its not good comedy, in every sense, no denying there, but it humors some people. And well, you might not care about filters now but the more they crack down on regular words they personaly do not like as seen in other games like EA games, well, one day, we all might care, just a little bit more. No to filters i say. You give them a inch, they will take the whole highway.

it must be a new implementation then over the last 2 patches cause when i saw it it was definitely slur1 wouldnt suprize me if they also have the issue where you can do that weird same letters thing where you have the 2 english letters but one is formatted differently and slips past i remember that being an issue 18 years ago in a chat forum when people made new accounts with the same name as the mods lol

One, i didnt know that, i dont look at quotes, too late for that now. Two, no, i cant figure it out, im not psychic nor am in the wire, i can only take guesses, not openly however, i think i have a good idea what it is but its been years since anyone used that ancient word thats a harmless gamer word. We are not accomodating anyone, we are for freedom, not restrictions. 12 year olds dont play Yugioh, they play Fortnite. Also their not toxic, that word gets throw out at everything, lost all its meaning by now, learn what it means. They will grow up but you cant and shouldnt force them to grow up faster, they have only one childhood, let them have it. And the only one crying about it is the topic creator so thats funny of you to say.
