"ranked" a joke
How is this considered ranked if you can't lose rank, you can go 3-20 and still rank up. what the heck?

Deranking starts from Gold 4 and you can't be demoted from the maximum rank (Platinum 1). If you've had a losing stream in Silver you don't get demoted.

I think this is stupid too. rank honestly needs to go back to bronze if you're bad enough. novice and the maximum tier should be your only free pass from deranking.

Edit: and to clarify, "maximum tier" in this context isn't "platinum", there should be one highest rank that has no divisions of 5-1, it just is the ultimate tier and you don't derank if you achieve it.

Cause it's not ok if someone running low tier bu more fun (to him) deck and so he wants to stay in low rank in order to have fun as much as possible
Ranked is only gonna get worse, they'll change it so deranking only happens at the highest rank as a way to prevent people from deranking back down to Gold just to get Silver rewards

Before gold you practically aren't fighting human players so I don't think it matters lol.

They already changed it so next tally you would get rewards for being higher rank, making derankers lose out.

Most online tcg's have a minimum starting point for derank and then a maximum that you can even derank too.

No, because people would derank on purpose to farm easy wins against newcomers.

It's this. If I could derank down to bronze I would just to avoid fighting the unending stream of eldlich.

What rank are you? Eldlich is the easiest part of the meta ladder to beat, compared to Tribrigade and Dryton, or Virtual World.

so they can ingeniously rank back up to throw a bunch of matches to rank back down? yeah, okay, that sounds incredibly strategic.
