Deranking?

It says in the standard details that losing enough games will cause you to derank, however, I've lost eight games in a row and there's no sign that I'm deranking anytime soon. I'm sick of being stuck in a rank where all I can do is lose, when will I be deranked so I can actually play competitive matches?

What rank are you? I believe deranking only occurs for Gold 4 and up.

The game gives you no sign you're about to derank, you just do.

you need to lose 7 times in a row or so to derank

You can't go back to silver. When you reach gold or platinum you're stuck in lowest tier (unless you rank up) until next ranked season.

You can never go back to silver and can only derank starting from Gold IV back to Gold V. Only time you can head back to silver is during a rank reset aka next season, and you can't derank in silver.

It doesn't matter because you can't derank from Gold V, only IV.

It's going to get easier at the end of the month when all better decks move up to platinum. In the meantime you can make your deck better.

Like i said i can win, it's just not very enjoyable.

honestly I think they might've just disabled deranking since the first season because I forfeit all the time and it hasn't happened to me yet.

Because you don't understand the system. You can't go below Gold V, and if you're on Gold V then no amount of forfeits will reduce your amount of wins needed to go to next rank. If you're above that then you need like a major loss streak to be deranked.
