Nope, because it's unaffected by Droplet and Dark Ruler.

Yeah, I think they can also be fused as well by cards like super poly or into a cyber dragon fusion but I haven't been able to test this so I'm not 100% sure.
If I recall, super poly doesn't work since it is a activated effect.

Share the Pain can work as well if the monster in question is the only one they have, as it doesn't actually effect the opposing monster. It affects the opposing PLAYER in making them have to tribute a monster.

Also, I believe Crossing Souls (allows you to tribute opposing monsters to tribute summon a God) gets around that as well. (at least it was able to yeet my Eldlich when it was protected from ALL card effects via Shianuri (can't remember the exact spelling) Style Success) Generally though, Kaiju or a similar monster (Lava Golem if they have another monster out, Santa Claws) would be the most reliable means of removal. That or find a way to surpass its ATK. XD

edit: One more thing. If this monster's summoned via a form of special summoning that DOESN'T occur from an activated effect, Black Horn of Heaven/Solemn Judgment/etc. can flat out negate the summon and destroy the monster. (as it hasn't actually been successfully played on the field yet, its effect won't have a chance to be applied)

I know that from first hand experience from summoning Jinzo. Solemn can negate the tribute summon of Jinzo and Black Horn can stop it special summon from a card effect.

Solemn can negate the Normal/Tribute Summon of Jinzo, but Black Horn (or any card that would try to activate "when a monster would be Summoned", for that matter) can never negate a Special Summon that occurs while an effect/Chain is still resolving.

Evenly matched works since it's the opponent who banishes their cards although they may just leave the unaffected card as the last one.

Edit: If you can get a token to the enemies field that will force them to banish the unaffected card as you can't banish tokens face down. Will probably not come up that often but it's good to know.

Effects that do not activate can affect the monster in question.

Also, Skill Drain CAN work, but only if it was activated BEFORE the monster was summoned. (as it negates its effects before they can apply themselves)

When in doubt, beat over it with Accesscode Talker or something. It might be unaffected by effects, but unless it's protected from battle there's always the option to just punch it out with something fat.

If it's just "unaffected by card effects", then it doesn't matter whether the effect activates or not. Continuously applied effects wouldn't affect it, either.

But if it said "unaffected by activated effects", that's another story.

*looks at title* Yup it's by activated effects.

Now even cards that are unaffected by card effects can still be affected by card effects IF a card such as Skill Drain was already on the field.
"activated effects"

ACTIVATES Dark Ruler No more or Forbidden Droplet

You know what?

I think I know where my brain got mixed up. The Skill Drain post above mine.
