In FACT, the video you posted is in regards to the lack of a card pool Duel Links has in regards to Master Duel and brings up the frustratingly tedious farming of gems and says nothing in regards to the currency system in regards to Master Duel but instead glorifies over the cards you have access to as a (hero) player.
Come up with an actual problem next time.

Edit: Skip to 1:46 for proof for those who haven't played Duel Links.
Edit 2: For those who don't want to watch this, to put into perspective you have a limit of 12 purchases with the F2P gems which at the time were hard to come by in the first place. It took Dkayed over 19 packs before he got the card he initially wanted (Book of Moon) which is OVER the free to play limit and that's only cause he had spent 68$ up to that point, FOR ONE CARD FOR A MOBILE GAME. Nevermind that he has to reset the box in order to fish within that 60 pack 2 more times that was sold for a limited time that you had no way of crafting.
Do not.
pay to skip is still pay 2 win.
but people look at masterduel and compare it to the tcg and it looks reasonable in comparison.
