Explain to me how infernoids aren't broken as ♥♥♥♥
One card combo into infinite recursion and recycling effects, can easily set up a very strong board with a lot of versatility, and can OTK if forced to go second. How isn't this deck broken as ♥♥♥♥

Because in order to do any of that, half your deck has to be hard bricks while the other half isn't allowed to be handtraps. They literally can't run Maxx "C", because it will brick their Reasoning and Monster Gate, and that fact gives the deck a massive power budget from the standpoint of the OCG (who are the ones designing the cards).

Because it's a gimmick deck that is xenophobic to good cards. Their best strategies rely on reasoning or monster gate into decatron, which both enforces a heavy deck-building requirement and makes the resolution of the deck rely on luck (more so than the usual card game variance). It's also possible to play with grass and/or snake-eyes, at which point you are just making the snake-eyes deck worse more so than making your infernoid deck better. And when they do draw the god combo and hit everything they need...it doesn't even put up that impressive of a board. They banish their guys fairly quickly if you get into a grind game, and the end board doesn't really have that much meaningful interaction against most decks. I recall they usually end on a monster negate and banish, the new link with banishes, one or two gy banishes, and promethean princess in the gy. Quite honestly that entire board loses to a dark hole
They still have lava golem, imperm gamma and delta to deal with the opps spamming.

The part with the bricky hands might be true but they have lots of starters now.
And if one resolves those bricks become live.

Im unsure, deck could broken but underused.

Infernoid have lots of play style but they still inconsistent though.

Cuz they die to one hand trap, what do you do if you get hit with an ash on your reasoning/grass/thrust? Can't do anything at all under shifter. And the deck can't really make much with all those materials.

Consistency in a word.

Any cards or decks that hate on the grave will also roll them. Infernoid is basically a free win for Kashtira 99% of the time.
Imperm Evil or Flood
GG
I don't think I have ever seen anyone actually resolve their boards.

They're a gimmick deck in a best of 1 format. This game isn't a best of 3 with sideboarding in between games. Sometimes you just lose to gimmicks you didn't prepare for. It's the nature of this game's format. That doesn't mean gimmick decks are tier 0. It just means the format allows for certain things that are preventable in TCG. Then again, that's why MD decks don't always resemble TCG decks because you sometimes have to run sideboard cards in main deck out of necessity.

As others have said this specific gimmick deck doesn't allow it to slot in most handtraps because it bricks their Reasoning or Monster Gate plays. It also means that you can run cards that easily shut down their combo starters and plays. Most of which are effective against other decks as well.
hmm... i wouldnt call that inconsistent.
i used destrudo instead of decatron, rollback into ghost meets girl to block the opponent, then summon psychic end punisher with piaty + lvl 6 destrudo (at 1250-2000 LP)

i used chicken games, upstarts, into the voids. itll surely die to shifter and possibly droll but i dont think its that weak to other handtraps.

Deck has a bunch of gas. However to use any of that gas you gotta get most of it in the graveyard since the cards in hand are usually bricks. No ishizu millers because those are just too broken in general. You have to supplement the deck with other stuff that gives it very brutal chokepoints. You also don't have the luxury of playing handtraps with the deck usually so you have to do stuff like Transaction Rollback/BGL.

You will have games where you go against something like a Super Heavy Samurai full multi Omni negate endboard and be able to dismantle it. Then have way more games where you're just bricked up and can't do anything.
