Are there cheats that force your opponent to DC?
Twice tonight I've been dced while facing someone who either had no handtrap in turn 1 or turned the tables on. After a move nothing happens for a while then my cards blow up and it shows I lost with a crown on the opponent.

Is this a thing or is it something serverside? I know it's not my ISP as I have another online game going just fine.

It's the servers. I assure you I have met a lot of my opponent that got dced during a duel and I absolutely have no knowledge about cheat tools or hack or something like that. Imo it depends on region because I never had any connection issue so far.

It's an issue with regional servers combined with your internet. Really hard to tell anything for sure just from consumer guesswork, but this is something that has consistently been a thing in both MD and duel links. There are days where specifically only people in the EU or in america are constantly having connection issues. My personal guess is that those problems come from their end and then the strength of your own connection determines whether that just makes you lag or straight up kicks you out of the game, because it is consistently the same people who say they either never get kicked out or always get kicked out, doesn't seem to be an in-between

No. People saying there is are just making up explanations for the servers being a mess.

No, it's just Konami's servers again. From my experience, if you're DCing a lot, just call it a day and try again later.

Haven't found something like that for years. The only time I found it is not far from release date of MD. It's kinda mimicking what DL does. You start drawing, not long after it, you lose instantly.
In your case it's probably connection since you can at least make a move, but who knows.

The probabilities always there, but as long as that report feature spammed by people because they didn't like their opponent deck, I don't think you can do anything about it.
Then again hacking means sending malicious data to their server, which mean sooner or later Konami will patch it

When you look at the rest of the game, you quickly realize Konami is just completely incompetent and thus the servers are bad.

I can't even play this game on my playstation anymore because I get D/C'd every other game on that platform, but my PC works fine. I just assume its Konami being trash with networking. Hanlon's Razor
