The best I could do is show some fun replays if I weren't too lazy to Youtube.
It was kinda funny watching people put out these cyber dragons BLS Envoy of the beginning just to give them a tadpole. I liked doing it with scape goat too
One specific one I remember was actually from the current event. I was on shaddoll vs. my opponent on dragons, I opened a bad hand and they drew a crazy amount of gas to get the rulers going turn 2. They also brought out koa'ki meiru dragon, which kind of shuts my whole deck down, and then spent more resources bringing it back when they saw I was on shaddolls. They could have lethaled me on turn 4 but played it safe, and I had to burn all my resources just to clear the board. With nothing but 2 shaddoll fusions to my name, I set a bluff and passed. I was already almost dead at this point, and again the opponent plays safe when they could lethal me. I was wondering what I could possibly draw to get out of this and the third (dead) shaddoll fusion comes up to answer that question. I just set another one as a bluff, while my opponent ignores lethal for the third time and makes probably the only play that doesn't win on that board - summon dracossack and pop the backrow, which prevents it from attacking that turn. That means my shaddoll fusion is finally live, but it still takes a few turns to get back into the game from there and I just narrowly manage to scrape by a win after 3 turns on death's door.
304-729-211 if you want to see it, might be a bit more interesting than reading it out, but that's the best I've got atm. There are so many silly things in there where you could ask "what are the chances" and they all lead up to exactly that outcome
He ended up playing into Divaridis and got burned down to 5600, went to battle phase and I activated Magical Cylinders. Despite literally watching me set Magic Cylinder he proceeded to attack with Magnamhut and eat 5300 damage himself. Then he attacked with the Dark Grepher he special summoned by discarding Saronir into my set Lilybell (The only monster I drew for my opening hand) and took 300 damage.
There's a second story I got where I thought I was gonna have a normal (albeit annoying cause I bricked) game versus a Blue Eyes player, only to find out that he was running a Rage With Eyes of Blue OTK deck. It kinda sucked that I bricked, but the dude deserved to win for that awesome, unique OTK deck that I've never seen before.
I was playing Mayakashi + Soul Absorption tower + Soul Levy for the deckout missions (couldn't afford Runick yet) and even had that in my name, like deckout17/20 or smth. Was up against some Hero player and I failed to do it on my turn.
Momma didn't raise a quitter, so I just kept playing. They do the usual hero stuff under Soul Levy, which got me further and Mayakashi ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of them coming back from GY when monsters are destroyed, kept me alive through their turn. They were down to like 3 cards but still had a solid board, idk what any of their names are or what they do, but I dealt with the stuff and then they pull some anime protagonist move with some from grave fusion of some big chungus and if I remember right, the link 4 Mayakashi still dealt with it.
And then they obviously quit before it's their turn to draw again.
Your story is fine, I remember trying that deck out at some point a few years ago myself. Mayakashis are always going to have a special place in my heart.
