I also love dropping almost random cards in decks. Like any time I need a Lv7 vanilla I will grab Wingweaver because I love her.
And using random vanillas is always fun when you need them.
On the other, it is a shame he didn't randomly get a whole ass archetype surrounding him.
I wouldn't mind if more old cards got some Skull Guardian style love.

the worst thing is despite dismantling them I've often been tempted to build them again because i do love the deck up until the end of the turn lol
Also could have expanded on the Dai Grepher theory if that's true. That he is Dai wearing the Metal Silver Armor. At which point they could make a whole new story around the group in those cards. Hell maybe he's not Grepher but they could be friends or rival or something. There is so much there and none of it has gotten explored despite all the cool old cards they made depicting this connected world.
