What's the WORST deck you regret building?

Just a little discussion I feel like having to have some actual topics here.

For me it'd have to be Magikey. I love the aesthetic, I love the idea of incorporating normal monsters into a strategy (like my love for gemini cards) and I loved the idea of having a versatile way to build a board. However after trying time and time and time again, I could not for the love of me get it to work. From brainstorming, to looking up guides, to trying out builds- the archetype was just bad and ultimately it was a waste of resources and time. Maybe if it becomes more streamlined and a little more powerful in the future I may pick it back up.

Valkrie, expensive and rely on perfect hand for combo or brick to oblivion. Dragon maid because its so boring.

Pure artifact. The concept of having bait backrow and destroying your own spell/trap cards to trigger them was really cool in theory but in practice, it's too slow and it was a waste of dust.

I love making bad decks on purpose. I just recently put together a Union deck focused around Dark Blade and his pet dragons. I love every FLIP archetype, especially Worms. Just wasted however much Normal rarity dust on every version of Gagagigo because I love that lizard.

And I still regret trying to make Dustons work.

I LOVE DARK BLADE! I remember as a kid I had all these unions and would try to make them work. They didn't lol. I still try every so often.

I also love dropping almost random cards in decks. Like any time I need a Lv7 vanilla I will grab Wingweaver because I love her.

And using random vanillas is always fun when you need them.

I am more upset Dark Blade instead of getting a union/contact fusion deck in the modern styles with special summon effects for the unions and maybe equips from hands and all that, was put in memento. Relegated to being a forgotten card when I never forgot. I still have my physical deck and I was hoping one day we could get a full Dark Blade the Dragon Rider Deck.

Dark Blade has NOTHING to do with Evil Hero. Unless you have some lore to add that I missed. I don't look at heroes much. You do know Dark Blade has Lore right?

Probably Vaylantz. I love the art, I love pendulums as a whole, the playstyle was fun. But I just didn't care for any of its end boards. It either just did things I was already doing with my other pendulum decks less reliably, or was doing some silly degenerate stun nonsense.

the worst thing is despite dismantling them I've often been tempted to build them again because i do love the deck up until the end of the turn lol

I'm happy he got a Memento card, honestly. Sure, I'd have preferred he get his own archetype seeing as how popular he was, but it's something. There's also Dark Blade, the Captain of the Evil World as a fun piece of generic DARK support.

Yeah the Dark Blade cards are cool, but they could have gone as far as to add him to the Red Eyes archetype or made his support dragons in general given he seems to mirror the Paladin of white dragon so much. The Paladin of Dark Dragon certainly isn't as cool as he is.

Also could have expanded on the Dai Grepher theory if that's true. That he is Dai wearing the Metal Silver Armor. At which point they could make a whole new story around the group in those cards. Hell maybe he's not Grepher but they could be friends or rival or something. There is so much there and none of it has gotten explored despite all the cool old cards they made depicting this connected world.
