What's the WORST deck you regret building?
Just a little discussion I feel like having to have some actual topics here.

For me it'd have to be Magikey. I love the aesthetic, I love the idea of incorporating normal monsters into a strategy (like my love for gemini cards) and I loved the idea of having a versatile way to build a board. However after trying time and time and time again, I could not for the love of me get it to work. From brainstorming, to looking up guides, to trying out builds- the archetype was just bad and ultimately it was a waste of resources and time. Maybe if it becomes more streamlined and a little more powerful in the future I may pick it back up.

What about you guys?

Eh probably Nemleria or Tistina.

Both are just too inefficient for what they want to do.

Kind of a shame as they are an otherwise neat concept for decks.

Branded, bunch of URs I'll never play makes it the worst deck in my library

Tistina is a fantastic go 2nd deck
Legit great match up against SEFK, Yubel, Horus, Runick - boards that negate & destroy

Tindangle's flip effects is too slow, dismantled them should've build Ninja instead.

Herald Drytron. I happened to pull a Royal Herald of Ultimateness around Master Duel's launch and liked the aesthetics of the Drytrons anyway, so I felt obligated to invest in it. Ended up never actually playing the deck because it was so oppressive, massive waste of CP that's not transferable to other decks.

Endymion. Not because it's bad or anything. I enjoy the deck in paper. But, the deck is mad expensive in MD. Soo many URs. It's just sitting there in my deck lists unfinished.

Trickstar. Just an inferior burn deck that need the perfect hand everytime to work.

Vernusylph. Its soooooo many URs for a game play I didn't like because ultimately to be good it needs the ishizu cards or you double down on drought statue. The alternative is to build it with madolche, but I don't like doing that in general since I prefer pure decks. It was really expensive to make just to find out its not fun to play, because why do I want to make my whole combo about cheating out drought statue?

Honestly, with lightstage off the list, if they would bump reincarnation to 2 it could be a solid rogue deck again and be pretty good

F.A. It's not even that the deck is bad or boring as much as it's miserable to play. It is obnoxious both for you and the opponent, borderline unplayable in paper, and what's your payoff for it? A mediocre synchro strategy whose best monster gets abused in generic synchro slop. Motorhome transport is actually pretty cool in its design, and is designed really well in the fact that it's a generic synchro but only really gains its benefits in a dedicated F.A. deck. But dawn dragster is perfectly generic with no downside to being played in other decks. And just like any other synchro deck, the best way to play it is to spam out the same boring negates. Baronne, borreload, dawn dragster, yippee. Haven't touched the deck in over a year and probably won't ever again, despite having a royal hyper stadium

probably burning abyss, but at least some of the parts of it became useful later down the road.

Wind ups, I wanted them to work but they need a whole bunch of rigamarole for not alot of payoff

Going by cost, it has to be Evil Twins or Sky Strikers but actually worst has to be Rose Dragon - not that I actually regret building it, the cards look too dope for that but good lord, I can't even make it consistently work in solo.

I can't think of anything. I keep pulling chaos and keep mixing and matching all the cards so nothing goes to waste. I am at most disappointed in some of them but that's just a lack of support.

Is this bad as in the deck is weak, or bad as in us not liking the deck after building it?
Because my weakest deck is probably Witchcrafter, but I love it, so no regret there. I built Amazoness, Dinomorphia, and Harpies and I really don't enjoy any of them. So I guess whichever of those is considered the worst.

Same here with Rose dragon. I loooove the cards and the artwork, but I cannot make a functioning deck to save my soul.
