The state of the Master Duel Forums

*This thread has recently turned into nothing but insults from players and is no longer constructive. It has been locked.

Well Leo anywhere he goes there will be nothing but arguments and dis-constructive critiques thrown around. The only positives being at-least it keeps the forums lively.

These forums used to be a lot more active. The passage of time and all that.

"These forums" have been like this since the game launched, and before that it was about Feet and other random joke topics. People only come here to complain about the game or spam their campaign code

This isn't anything particularly new. Most of the habitual trolls have gotten bored of coming here anyway, or maybe they found the good ending and started playing games they actually enjoy. Now there's just the handful of regulars who are physically incapable of accepting disagreement that causes scenes like this. The campaign codes have probably been the worst offender over anything else, because now you see a constant spam from people who won't ever engage with these forums again and those heavily outnumber the regulars who come here to talk about the game in terms of sheer volume alone. I am actually surprised by the amount of new players asking about the game or for help with specific issues though

Just be reminded that the community sees the highest level of authority as people like cimooo, dkayed, teamsamurai, MBT, and so forth. You're not exactly reaching a high bar.

Not continuing an "argument" here but, the card was Pharaonic Advent. It was printed in 2023.

"Gains 300 ATK for each Continuous Trap on the field and in the GYs. You can only use each of the following effects of "Pharaonic Advent" once per turn. You can Tribute 1 monster; Special Summon this card from your hand. You can Tribute 1 Fairy, Fiend, or Reptile monster; add 1 Continuous Trap from your Deck to your hand, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn."

You can Tribute a stun card "Banisher of the Radiant" for its effect.

worth noting that nobody worth their salt actually listens to them for serious competitive opinions

which is kinda funny because TeamSam actually is good at the game... he won a YCS earlier this year, has gotten to finals previously, and has a ton of tops, despite his Youtube content being about as far from competitive as you can get, but I digress

with world-level pros like Jesse Kotton, Joshua Schmidt, Raymond Dai, Judeu, etc frequently giving their opinions and thoughts, there's a lot better people to learn from than MBT or Farfa

the problem is that once on the level of actually finding the advice useful, you might already also be at a point where you are better off ignoring it and searching your own edge over the competetition, which you cant find by copying.

MBT and consorts are entertainment, unless they talk nonsense about past formats, then im a little annoyed.

Oh C.C. I have butted heads with him myself in the past. He is too proud, but I don't disagree with him on some things.

Remember when he said R-ACE was not good enough and then R-ACE got enough support to have its own format for a while. He was even at YCS Cancun where R-ACE was the most played deck.

Oh I forgot to add: He was complaining about Turbulance not being good enough back then. Also when he stated full power Zoodiac would ruin Master Duel.

According to C.C. the ban was for a comment reply to Zephyr, something about "malacath for brains"

Also their topic is no more rage baity than somebody complaining about their stun getting hit, or insulting players for using a deck that's meta, or etc etc

What are we missing I was not playing in that format? Broadbull or something?
